I dont know why my comment was removed. Is it wrong to let ppl know what really did happen when u use pantene...Me and my sis use it and we both got bald spots. I recently talked to my other friends and found out alot of ppl got bald spots from it also. So I am not making this up and it's pretty common.

i think pantene is pretty good but not the best for me because it made my hair too heavy somehow but well everyone has different kind of hair.

well this doesn't work for mi. I'm not saying its bad but it made mai hair very prone to breakage so I switched to dove and it makes mai hair stronger.

Well Mylene Klass is one of of the kindest, beautiful person in the world. I met her in Dublin and we talked like crazy. Afterwards she gave me a hug and said goodbye. I doubt she'd lie about pantene. It IS good! Ive been using it for years! If you think its bad your using it wrong. Mabye too little shampoo and too much conditioner. Me and my mate use it! Our hair looks gorgeous.

I've used Pantene years ago, I had so many bald spots afterwards and my sister had it also. Don't use it! It took me years to grow it back out and it was so embarrassing.

I love how they computer animate it to make the shininess look 100x more then it is. I used pantene once and it dries out your hair like crazy. It's garbage yet they try to make it look like a salon product.

I cannot judge about the quality of Pantene because it's been years ago that I last used it, but yes, I agree with you: They try to tell people Pantene was a salon product. It's just one of those cheap and unuseful products you can find in any supermarket. And Procter & Gamble are fucked up anyway.

the pantene commercials say it works "better than the leading salon product" but it actually dried out my hair really bad. It's full of chemicals and sulfates. Obviously Salon products are a lot better.

pantene pro-v is NOT good for your hair at all. it contains wax which will cause a lot of build up in your hair and over time you hair can begin to fall out. (at least that is what my hair dresser told me, but i've never heard of anyone going bald from using pantene?)

Not just that. Most conditioners, shine serums, and other "moisturizing" products are okay as long as you have a cleansing shampoo to get rid of the buildup. What's worse than waxes are silicones like dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane, etc. They're initially good, sealing in moisture, but if you leave them on your hair too long, they don't let moisture in either. This causes weak hair and breakage.

actually last time i bought a shampoo was pantene and i noticed that my hair was falling more than usual...cause my hair falls a lot but lately is worse...n i didnt realize it was the shampoo until i read this...tnx!!

ive been using pantene since i was 6 and i had the same problem but realized that i was using too little shampoo and too much conditioner. now, use my shampoo and conditioner at a 4:1 ratio, so i shampoo my hair twice and use the conditioner only 1/2 of the amount of one use of my shampoo

It's widely accepted that Pantene is an inferior corporate rip-off of VS shampoo. VS was the best selling shampoo in the world; and #1 in the US market, until P&G contracted to sell & promote VS but then pulled it from the US market in breach of contract, so they could make higher profits on Pantene without paying royalties.

I will never use Pantene.

I was just wondering, my friend told me to use Pantene's Beautiful Lengths shampoo and conditioner because she said it supposedly makes your hair longer and thicker...but then again, my mom told me never to use Pantene because it made her hair really dry and frizzy and in the past made my scalp very dry. thats true. Im asian and apparently asians are meant to have hair that is NATURALLY like that. Its not natural if you have to use silicone and all these chemicals to make it go like that. my hair looks like that but the amount of product i use is ridiculous.

You have to put in mousse and then blow dry it half way on it getting to bone dry. Then you have to straighten it with irons and then finally add serum to it. It WILL be just like that trust me.

Actually, yes, it does work pretty well. I use Pantene and my hair looks really nice, but of course not like in the commercials....I'm sure those girls straightened their hair and added a lot of other stuff.
