  • @2468xx Thank you for the idea! I should definitely make a new video.

  • Maybe if you used Fraps the video would look clearer....

  • Perfect for recalibrating analog synths. Thanks Tomáš!

  • does this work with pianos?

  • Yes, you can use the strobe tuner for piano tuning. But you should consider the piano tuning is more advanced task than tuning for example the guitar. You should know the cent offsets for each tone (stretch tuning presets are included in the program). And the tone on most keys is created by two or three strings so if you are not familiar with tuning the piano, I recommend you to leave it to the specialist.

  • I have just received a positive feedback from one user who tunes the piano with this tuner:

'Your strobe tuner works MUCH better than my chromatic tuner. Some notes are a little hard for it to hear, especially in the bass. In any case, despite a few notes that were a bit difficult, it allowed me to produce my best tuning yet on my piano. Best, B.'

  • Even though it doesn't have presets like the Peterson Strobe software, its 1/4 the price and works flawlessly. Who needs presets, anyway? Great program!

  • The new version with Presets is available :-) Open tunings, stretch tunings, user-defined skins. Enjoy.
