It seems to work best when the input going in is modulated beats. So if you're using a beat loop track it's treated more like one long note and it doesn't work so well. But if you're generating the beat in LMMS itself, each note is processed and Glitch works much much better.
Also it seems to respond better to percussive input than melodic stuff. That's been my observation so far and you may notice it later in this vid.
BTW, I don't know what I'm doing either. But it's fun! :D
cool, the dblue-glitch vst has to be 1 of if not the best free effect anywhere IMO. Does the transport sync work properly on windows when you start play from 0 on LMMS does glitch start from 0 everytime. In linux OS it is just free-rolling, so when i render a song/sample i dont have full control of the timing of the effects.
If I get what you're saying, it keeps going and going. I have to turn off the effect and turn it back on to make it stop. LMMS really needs a way to stop all sounds. (Big red button or under help dropdown.) It seems to happen more with VST effects, yet it also happens with some VST synths. And stuck sounds can get very annoying. (If it's real bad sometimes, I just restart the software.)
I'll tolerate it for now. I figure it should get fixed soon enough in a future release.
@pauljs75 well yes it does keep going, but it seems to be working better for you on windows. what i mean is I want the timeline below theFX segments to be synced with my timeline in lmms song so that for example if i have snare on beat 3 1st bar and the stretcher in dblue 3rd beat(1st bar) the effect will occur at this moment, but as it stands now dblue just runs when it is loaded (although it matches my songs tempo) and is not relative to when i press play in song or bassline editor.
Ah, what can I say? You're more experienced at this than I am. I still think the biggest limitation with LMMS right now is in the automation tracks - which could do wonders with stuff like Glitch if they worked together. 1. They still can't control every property yet. (As in VST controls, etc.) 2. No event recording mode for the dials they're attached to. 3. No alternative bezier mode for easier/faster editing by hand. I hope such things will make it into LMMS in the future.
Is it possible to make Glitch sync up with a given track? It'd be WAY easier than chopping and reversing audio by hand.

@KenLopezYokohama Find your LMMS folder. There should be another one inside that for plugins. The .dll files go there.

Decent demo, Dblue-glitch is super cool! I don't know how to use it though, you get a lot better sounds out of it then I do.
