The Razorback V is always with 24 frets compared to 22 on the "ordinary" ones with all that edges and spikes and GODDAMN I CAN'T REACH THE 22th FRET BECAUSE A FUCKING SPIKE IS PIERCING MY HAND.

Actually, he used ML's for most of his life, which is what the razorback's based off of. He played both, he just used a prototype razorback for a few months before he died, which was before they became available to the general public.

i own a razorback 255. they come with emg active pickups.and dimebuckers are passive. and yes get this guitar just the standard version. this guitar doesnt have any top spike its a flying v. but the spike soesnt do that. you must just be a small person.

it's good for everything :) From metal to blues, or whatever the fuck guitar style you want! :D it kicks ass! especially the dimebucker pickup...sweet dime-squeals!!! and yes you can keep it in C :D the floyd rose keeps it in perfect tuning no matter how much you dunk the tremelo! i have mine in Drop B and sometimes i play in F Standard tuning :D

Besides that though, the Razorback is THE perfect Axe. :) Unless you're sitting down. If you attempt to play it on your lap, the top spike will drive deep into your ribs :o so play it with a strap, or in between your legs :D
