  • yeah, she look like indian somehow...

  • is rippingyarns still available?

  • Sana i- remake ni Cynthia mga kanta ni Natalie Merchant kung pwede.

Or Theme song ng Manok Ni Sanpedro from the 80's

  • She's playing at Conspiracy Garden Friday night Sept. 25. If you're in Manila it's worth the trip to 59 Visayas Ave. in project 6 across from the Shell station. I'm visiting QC from Guam right now

  • all individuals attached with her music has something in common... it seems like the artistry she shared to us (who appreciated it) was very intimate... i love the composed artistry... im still hoping for more... anyway her album was distributed by dyna records... support her the way a fan like me did...

  • nice video

  • i can feel the passion ;] it's overwhelming

  • Her accent, what is it? British?

  • Cynthia is pure Filipina/Dabaweña, but she has a bit of a India accent because she was probably Hindi in a previous life.

  • lol

  • @UncleTote

    i think it's Hindu:-)

  • uncle, how do i get to conspi if im coming from makati? thanks po!!!

  • It's at59 Visayas Ave across from the Shell station. Visayas Ave. connects to the Quezon City Circle. Cynthia is in Davao till Saturday. Her gig schedule is on her Myspace page. Just do a friend search to find her. She also has a website cynthialexander dot com. Notice there's only one "a" in the name to that page. I'm visiting from Guam this week, and caught her set at Conspiracy last Saturday night. You'll love the place. Check the interview about the place on my channel here.

  • would love to see her perform live again. i would like to see her in person and also interview her.

  • She's playing this Saturday night at Conspiracy Garden Cafe, 59 Visayas Ave. in Quezon City. I'm coming over from Guam to be there. If you're in Manila you should check it out. Conspiracy is right across the street from the Shell Station on Visayas Ave.

  • im afraid i cant come this saturday. im here in sagada for a project, a local event called begnas, and also for holy week. so i wont be back to manila until first part of april. but i will visit conspi when i get back to manila.

  • She's gigging at Murphy's in Makati on the 29th. She's playing bass for her brother Joey Ayala in Davao on the 16th. Her gig schedule is posted on her MySpace page (which you'll find if you do a MySpace search) and also at cynthialexander dot com. Notice that there's only one "a" in cynthialexander.

  • Hey uncle? are they in manila now? do they have recent/upcoming gigs?

  • Cynthia and her bro Joey Ayala are mostly in Manila. Cynthia has a MySpace page, but messaging here won't let me post the link...prettly lame, di ba? She's also got a cynthialexander. com site, but her myspace page lists her gigs to. Just do a search. Check conspi dot net too. That's the website for their joint venture place Conspiracy Garden Cafe at 59 Visayas Ave. across from the Shell Station in Project 6. Very cool place. I'm going over in early December to film the anniversary

  • she's one of my inspirations in my music and its great to know that true artists are just around the corner.. not on the maintream, hehe

  • Amen to that! I'll be going back to QC with my camera on Saturday to hook up with my Conspiracy Garden friends for a few days. What draws me to them is their devotion to art. I'm hoping to find time to interview Cynthia The Painter this time around. Stay tuned, and thank you for watching.

  • yeah i just received a txt message from her about her gig schedules this coming september.. been so long, i'll make sure i'll be able to see her again next month.. thanks for nice videos

  • I LOVE HER! She's the only Filipino artist whom I own a CD of at the moment. =)

  • Thanks for watching. She and her brother Joey are both true artists as opposed to being pop stars. You have to admire their devotion to the craft, and public opinion be damned

  • Yup, Project 6. It's across the street from the Shell gas station. She's playing there tomorrow night, June 30th. Tell her Tito Toting says hello.

  • i wish i can see any of her records on the shelves of music stores... -its really hard to find. she is one of my biggest influences and it feels sad that i dont even own one cd of her because i cant find any.

  • If you're in Manila, go to Conspiracy at 59 Visayas Ave. QC. You can find her CDs there, and see her live on selected nights. See the Conspiracy Garden clip on my channel.

  • sa project 6 po ba yon? ok... will do. thanks... can you tell me what day of the week she usually plays on?

  • Ahoy parin!

  • Ahoy there!

  • Cynthia and her brother Joey Ayala are the children of two artists, Jose V. Ayala Jr. and Tita Lacambra-Ayala, both of whom are recognized writer/painters. The interview was conducted at Shinji Tanaka's Sound Creation Studio.
