I was at this concert and was unknowingly right next to Trent in the mud and all of a sudden he jumps up on the stage and starts rocking out. Amazing experience but I would never do it again...Woodstock that is. NIN Rules.

And that's why I don't listen to the radio anymore, except for football, and a couple of choice programs here and there. I know I'm not alone, Reznor himself is pretty jaded with radio and mainstream, although he was a part of it not so long ago.

Funny how unlikely someone like NIN, Nirvana could ever have the same impact on mainstream. Looks like a picture of the past. Now it's all a bland- fest of urban pop crap. Maybe the tables will turn. Radio is dead to me.

every mistake comes down to equipment fucking up. guitar doesnt work throw/break it thats the NIN way. theyre not gunna stop the song and wait till everythings fixed. then the tech comes in with the new guitar throws it on him again cant avoid missing lyrics thats just what happens when your equipment acts up. the fact they made this work with al the problems they were have which was a lot is why this is such a iconic performance not to mention NIN fucking kicks ass to start with

What the fuck, this performance is considered one of the best NIN performances ever. The energy was amazing, the equipment throwing and destruction was part of the early NIN era that showed the revolutionary music and energy that Trent brought to concerts. If they played like this post-Fragile era, they would retained alot more fans and appreciation they lost over the years.

as a musician, I can understand their opinion that woodstock was one of their worst performances, equipment fucking up, mud in your eyes, little hard to breathe, I get it, but this performance is so punk rock on their part. such a big show, and televised on PPV & trent just chucks his guitar, misses some lines, just don't give a fuck! so, from the stand point of putting on a great fuckin show, this was an epic show, regardless of the "Event history" and crowd. fuck yeah, NIN!!!
