@st3v3ntj untethered is what you want because a tethered jailbreak requries you to repeat the jailbreak EVERY single time you Reboot your device and unless you have the time and a computer for that everytime unthered is the way to go....an untethered jailbreak simply means that you can turn on and off your device with out having to connect your device to a computer and jailbreak it again....
