Master, my sister in law is manipulative and a control freak who has an agenda with everything she does for her own benefit. I see her for what she is and it annoys me, she has no true and honest respect because of her agendas and her world is money orientated but children are involved. I am not naturally a person of hate and i blame her for these feelings and feel guilty that I feel hate. Its driving me nuts. she has no conscience. what do i do?
@tankman1962 What you have is called "projection" in psychoanalysis , the problem isnt your sister, its you. read about projection on google a little maybe it can help you
@tankman1962 usually someone hates those things he or she can t accept for her or himself , your sister may be a mirror for those parts of you which you cannot accept , you wouldn t be able to recognize these things if you would not carry them inside yourself , thats why it is always better to focus on yourself , the outer world with everyone inside is a mirror for you .
@tankman1962 I hate my mother in law. we both are different. I got married, had to stay with her, she did not even allow me to go for my brother's wedding. But after a week's time my unmarried sister in law wanted to go to thailand she did not say anything. She made very indecent blame on my mother .now it is over 20 years but i cannot forget what she has done to me. But at the same time i feel guilty about hating her.i visit her,do the needful to her but i cannot help hating her.
@tankman1962 Sounds like she has borderline or something of that nature, the only recommendation I got from the psychiatric clinic when I had a relationship with a women like that was to run, change name and number if I had to just get the fuck away, and remain out of reach of that person because they can never change. And they live to ruine everything and everyone around them, they feed on other peoples energy and leave the empty shells behind. They are just like parasites!
@tankman1962 Try seeing the layers that build her personality. Understand that every word, every behavior, is learned. She learned this attitude, it's the expression of some kind of inner balance, some kind of coping. Meditate. Meditate. Meditate. Approach her with overwhelming appreciation, warm your heart with prana. Make your inner stillness your rock that can weather any storm. Expect piles of trials and smiles; it riles them to believe that you percieve the tangled webs they weave.
I don't think what he's saying is "spirituality". I actually do feel things intensely, and people tell me that's one thing I'll have to get over--not to be so hypersensitive.
You are speaking of what works with adults here, right? Certainly you do not run the alternative school for children by uhm peeling their skin to make them more sensitive to life, that is obvious.
@splashcat First thanks for replying. But my question was not that. Ok no prob. I read your comment about peeling skin. I thought you've a critical view of him but now you say you find soothing listening him.
@banjbot Yes you asked if I think this person is genuine. I do. From what I observe he walks his talk. For example he not only talks about nurturing life in all its forms he also plants trees and inspires others to do so.
Regarding "peeling the skin [of adults]" to make them more sensitive, I think he refers to what some others have called "voluntary suffering," the ultimate objective of which is to eliminate negative emotions.
But as so far I'm studying with him only on YT I can't be sure.
I also like what he says he is amazing but sometime I find some contradiction in some of his speeches. Well I can't judge him as he is much much much more evolved then me. On the contradiction once I heard his speech on destiny someone asked about destiny. he didn' t reply straight whether there is a thing destiny or not but what he sounded like to me was there is no destiny. Well I
appreciate him for that if he preaches there is destiny and whatever you do its not going to make any difference because things are already destined in your life. It would have a very negative impact on the people in general. In some other speech he said on astronomy or prediction. He said a lot of things on this and said that predicting future is a very immature act or practice. And if he doest that
he could attract a huge crowd and whatever he would predict that will happen. So if things are not destined then how he says he could predict accurately. if things are not destined than no futrue telling is true either the sadhguru does it or some other person

@tankman1962 Stop focusing on others and focus on yourself. You are only responsible for yourself and your own reactions.
