  • Hey Chopper, whats in the box???!!!!!

  • I have to agree with roastpike, how big is your vehicle storage area? You must have many modes of transport to warrent that much car polish, don't know about the calf muscles but the right bicep must be impressive, almost crablike?

  • Love the staircase. Just what I've been looking for in a project I'm planning. Could you please send me more info and pictures? My email is dills@hotmail.co.uk Thanks.

  • Looks like you spend far too much time lining up your bottles of car polish. The steps look like uber fun, up... then down...up.... then down, your calf muscles must be well defined by now.

  • Hi I would like more information on how to build this project... luvbear879@gmail.com thanks!

  • Incredible engineering!! Can you send along some info. This is just what I am looking for in my garage access to the loft!! email is davestankevich@gmail.com Thanks Kindly

  • But they won't lose pressure all at once and conk somebody on the head? I looked for a long time for similar hardware for a trap door for a cupola, where kids play. The door had to close gently to prevent pinching fingers, but had to close securely every time. Tried many different hatchback springs, and ended up going with a medium grade industrial door closer, which has the advantage of having an adjusting screw.

  • What will happen when the gas springs lose pressure?

  • @mikemcmo

They can be re-gassed by the supplier

  • Would love to get more details about the materials you used for this job. I would rather have full stairs to my attic as opposed to a folding ladder. If you do have more details I would love it if you could forward them to me. Cheers Dave

  • @davidwgrainger

Could you help me with the hinge that you used to attach the staircase to the ceiling joist, the size of the stringers and threads, where to purchase the gas spring, also the species of the wood used. Sorry for all the questions. Hope you could help.

  • @dventor81

  • How can I get plans for this staircase. Looks strong and just what I'm looking for..

  • That is a great Idea. Smooth and efficient . Great job!

  • have been looking for a design to work for my needs...this could possibly be a useful concept. How can I learn more and get information / specs on it's design, how to build it, purchase one?

  • That is awesome!!!!!! How much is that?

  • I want to do the same thing with a stairway I have up to a loft. What strength/length of gas spring do I need to use? I'll assume my wooden staircase is about the same size/weight as this one in the video....
