@135wish This is entirely fallacies. Englishmen traveled the world, forming the ancient Germany. And later from Germany came Scandinavia which involved Denmark, and Sweden. There were Swedish Vikings, as there were Danish ones -- and Danish ones couldn't have been the first. However, it is found that both Danish AND Swedish Vikings invaded England.

Mercia was Danish, East Anglia was Danish, and Northern England, which used to be the viking kingdom of Jorvik was most definitely Danish as it was under Danelaw. The people of Normandy were mostly Danish and Norwegian. The Swedish mostly went to Russia. If you look at the timeline when vikings were shown in an area. They were first known to be in all of Denmark, large parts of Norway and some of Sweden.

Wtf? "my" people? I'm American, with a modicum of French ancestry. As I recall, Denmark cowered in fear of Charlemagne and later became an irrelevant, little bitch country for the rest of history and was under German rule during world war 2 until Americans (I guess that would be "my" people?? idk) laid the smack down on Hitler. The Danes hardly lifted a finger. That doesn't sound like "surprise buttsecks", on the Danes' part at least.
