Possibly if the workers were paid a decent wage and given decent food there wouldn't be so many defectors but they are so horrendously greedy and rapacious, and want so much to screw their victims for everything they can that they've created a false economy for themselves - in this particular area, that is.

One of high-up $cientologists who exited (Marty Rathburn?) figured out the stats on sea org. Evidence is there are something like 5 or 6 or 7 EX-Sea-Org members for every one current member. The creme de la creme, most dedicated & elite $cientologists are leaving in droves.Those Billion year contracts get violated awfully fast! A telling sign.

I see a guy who is not a professional journalist or actor, talking about extremely devastating emotional experiences that ruined his life for several years... I feel that his movement are very much in accord with his speaking and what he speaks about.

@betlamed one thing I like about this guy, though, is that even though he isn't a professional you can tell he's naturally a very good, communicative speaker...that's hard to come by, really. but you can tell he's an author, he's quite good at communicating feelings and impressions.

He was completely disassociated from himself or his self. Interesting to hear someone else explain it. What happened to him did to me in reverse. Part of me joined $cn and part of me always stayed out and had doubts (which is only a crime in the cult) I never joined the Sea Org where things get a little more strict and structured, even in a para military way. I was somewhat disconnected for yrs before I finally said wait a minute and started looking at it more analytically. Thx for the post. 5*
