i was born as a muslim dont follow it but i'm sure u all heard how many people hate muslims around the world, i think voodoo is cool a beautifull religion for people that have little knowledge about it may think that what they are doing is evil but like i said do some research and anyway who are u to judge people they not gonna stop voodoo coz of some negative people out there simply coz their aint worth it. i love their practises !!! look at ur self before u start juding others

Honestly, i grew up in a christian household. I'm a christian myself. I admit....as a child, i used to be afraid of vodou...due to the sterotypes and my ignorance towards it, but now that im 18..i've decided to expand my mind. I honestly dont see anything wrong with voodoo...its not only a religion but a cultural way of life. Voodoo isnt what the media potrays it to be. If most people would take the time to learn about it, we wouldnt be as scared.

I love vodou religion is very beautiful! I grew up in the caribbean with santeria but all these santeria priests ripped me of and totally mistreated me when i came to vodou practitioners they treated me really nice they were there for me. and they didn't discriminate me like these people did in santeria wich is a shame! vodou is very powerful. santeria is a business vodou is a life style! my respects to this lady even though who initiated my partner was marie ettiens very good as well.

@RobertMStFleur if you are saying this and you are supposed to be a Christian, you are accepting that it has some power. Power that you may not understand or agree with but power nonetheless. It is so sad that we are so small minded as a people to limit what we feel our views of god is and what is the right or wrong way to worship HIM. Europeans did a fine job of brainwashing us to hate ourselves and our religion when its the same religions they took from us and used it against us.

Powerful spirits overshadow the gods they are serving. All I am saying, Jesus has the ultimate power. Once you have him, there is no need having 401 spirits because he is sufficient and powerful enough to guard you from whatever the outcome may be.

I am not of the Voudou faith, but i know that their are a lot of people who do not understand African beliefs and because of western teachings we are taught to hate our culture. They do believe in one supreme God and people have this misconception that Africans have thousands. I could in the same breath say the Catholic church having various saints is the same as African faiths giving respect to ancestors. Respect.

@pusifut I do not believe in the western teaching; I believe in results, application and witnesses. Say that westerners spread the bad news, I would know the truth and turn my back on their teaching. People came to me in many occasions, forced me to tell them, which God I am serving? I laughed sometimes and Joked about it. I have Jesus and he really protects me 100%. As a result, the society is divided. People who are smarter than they are, richer, prettier or anyone with a skill would be a target to kill . The practice of Vodou should be banned in Canada. I hope the Canadian government does something about the practice.
