  • Do you have any plans for this? I would love to get them. I need one and your right $1800 is about the norm. I need that money for the car.

  • Very resourceful.

  • Reading the comments I see a few questions and engineering improvements. However, the wheel has many improvements today verses 12,000 years ago.LOL Great idea.

  • Thanks bud. On my way to Northern tool and supply today.

  • Can you email the plans to your rotisserie so I can build my own?

  • great idea!

  • looks really light, even as engine stands they look light lol

  • Great thinking but how did you lift the car up?

  • the centering of the body is easy....just find the middle left to right and move to the upper part of the firewall in the back messure to the middle of the rear.

The elco that on the video is my 1965 it was in tha grass for about 15 years and looked pretty good on the outside but when the floors were gone. so I had to come up with something.......and here it is.

thanks for all the question s

    have a blessed one.

  • sorry i've been out ......in answer to some of the questions...

The wheels on it work great long as your rolling in and out of the garage. turning is an issue and you need to be carful if you pull to hard to the left or right that the c clip that hold the wheels on dont pop off and you loose a wheel, it has happened to me.

  • sorry i've been out ......in answer to some of the questions...

one set of outrigers is all thats needed in fact it will turn without them with no issues its more a safety issue, I dont want to have to be picking this thing off the ground.

  • What year elco are you restoring? Im getting ready to restore a 65 elco soon.

  • Good shit Bro..... I'm making one this weekend .Lol

  • So how hard was it to find the center axis to spin and balance the body? Nice idea but I'd put out rigger legs on the rear stand also.Does it roll fairly easily with those small wheels? Necessity is the mother of invention.

  • thank the good lord for harbor freight!

    timings everything.

  • wow great tip, thanks
