    Thanks

    getting in there mate

  • Nice vid man, what model camera do you use to make this video? Let me know

  • Its the Sony Cibre shot. The N2 model. Its actually a 10mpx stills camera but it has an ok video function. The great thing about it is that you can hold it in one hand while you hold yours speargun in the other hand and get some mad footage.

  • 0:18 scared the shit out of me with high volume

  • Ha ha ha... yeah I forget to turn down now and then and it still surprises me.

  • by the way loved your artical in spear fishing down under magazine

  • okay there bloody xy though but i guess u pay for good stuff.

i just got a edge 1.2 carbon and found it to be inaccurate so that pissed me of a bit as u could expect so i think i might have look at a rob allen. thank mate

    cheers

  • just review and tweak your set up until you are happy.

i would reccomend a long 7.5 spear and single 20mm rubber

  • gday guys great vid and great fish well done.

guestion wat are the rob allen carbons like

  • I have 2 RA carbon guns and they are my favourites. They are light, easy to manouver and completely accurate as we would expect. I use 2 x 16mm rubbers and a 7.5 spear on both my 1300 and 1500.

  • is that a pelaj your using?

  • No... The guns we used were all Rob Allens. Cheers.

  • at 2:13 it looks like the shaft hits the fish and just bounces off leaving the fish stunned lol.

  • It looks like it but the same shot is at 6:16 in "Spearfishing in Australia" clip but you can see the fish being pulled to the surface.

  • who sings this song, and what is the name...awesome video by the way

  • Jimmy Barnes a legend Australian singer from the group Cold Chisel. If you liked that, check out the stuff that Cold Chisel did. Real good.

  • Fantastic to see you catch,"ride" and kill those big fish :-)) Great rough sperfishing, wonna do that myself too...badly ;-))

  • lmao huggg

  • Not spotted yellow bellied rock cod, but potato grouper. rock are midgets in comparison.

  • North of Mozambique, of the coast of Tanzania.

Mozambique is the most amazing diving I have seen, I did not shoot any of the 100kg + spotted yellow bellied rock cod. It was easier to scratch their bellies. More whale sharks, bull sharks, turtles and Dorado than I have ever seen. If you can get there before the chinees catch everything.(They are raping the place)

By the way I'll be taking a hollliday to go to the BLUE WATER YELLOW FIN TUNA OPEN, google search this.

    Cheers Paul.

  • Yummy, golden trevally. Awesome vid, I am moving to OZ.

  • yum golden trevalley wats ur problem

  • It's the name of fish, Trevallies are also known as one of the Jack family of fish.

It also happens to be a great tasting fish, no matter what you call it.

Anyway there seems to be no probably in eating fish you shoot.

  • no shit mate i fish and dive every weekend i only like them smoked but meh y dont u hust shoot a nice table fish like a trout or chinaman

  • I wish I could still dive every weekend, unfortunately I am limited to underwater hokey to keep in shape. I udes dive all the time South Africa, now however I am working in belguim, viz .000001 cm(mud), no fish, and -5 degrees. Last dive was in feb, 17 km north off zanzibar on a reef called Leven bank. monster fish there, huge currents. shot a 40kg GT. I have 2 years to work here, then I go back south where poeple understand the meaning of life. Cheers
