  • put on some lip gloss...

  • @Kirkasradio mind your own business... i do what i want with my lips and if you're irritated by that then go find another video.. gosh.. LOL

  • Thank you for sharing....I wear hearing aids too and I depend on closed captioning myself...so I agree with you 100%. YouTube, please provide all videos to be closed captioned to help us understand what was being said.

  • thanks for the video & cc info. I never considered cc until I saw you vid. It makes so much sense. You're right we can't leave anyone out. All the best,

  • @Wolffengong thank you!! awwww. :) i feel so happy now.

  • thats why she put a subtitle so everybody know what shes talking about if there's no subtitles i wont understand what she saying!!!

  • @bongnavaro24 aww!! thank you!! i take that as a compliment

  • I love your video!! Speaks the truth, for real. Now, if I could only figure out how to get my videos to upload!

  • @dreamalittledream176 when u do!! let me know.. cuz when u do.. i'll favorite them! :) thanks for watching :)

  • @sweetlikez A little belated on my part, but I finally was able to upload a few videos. Entertainment value only...and, I'm still learning the ins and outs of video creation. Love and light to you!

  • love your vidoe.. thanks for sharing and lets make sure that all people put in tehre videos in CC so that all deaf/hard of hearing can understand each other.

  • @deafgagirl yes!! TRUE! yes.. lets do that. and thank you! :)

  • It also goes the other way... I'd better hurry up and caption ALL my clips too, for people who don't understand Irish Sign Language. Some are, most aren't. Thanks for the wake up call. Good vlog. cheers.

  • I really love this vid. You're so right!!! :-D

  • I'm *hearing* and I appreciate captions, too, because sometimes, I want to turn down the sound on my computer or TV so as not to disturb those around me (watching YouTube vids at work, during your break, people -- think about it!). And sometimes, people speak with an accent I don't understand.

Why limit your potential audience when you don't have to? And don't rely on auto-voice recognition -- that tech is just not good enough.

  • zomg i didnt realize u were a girl. my apologies. ^.^

  • haha.. it's okay.. lol thanks!! :)

  • omg i am so distracted by your lips are you using gloss?? but yea i agree CC NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I make how to crochet videos and the automatic captions are way wrong! I want to edit the captions, but I do not know how to fix it. I'll check out the link you provided...Maybe I will learn how to fix it, and my deaf friends can learn to crochet.

Please give me some time to get them fixed.

  • Yeaahhh! Loved your vid and I'm totally with you. I'm deaf myself and yes, I offer closed captions on ALL of my videos. So basically, if I can then everyone can, too.

I like how you said about the next generation, he he. WTG!

  • What program do you use to put CC on your videos?

  • I use yt-subs . appspot . com put these together and go there.

there's a link for other kinds in the description as well.

  • I'm confused. It says to upload a caption file, which is what I do, but I don't see anything else. Your captions are perfect. Mine I have trouble timing with.

  • Oh that's cool that you you use ytsubs appspot. There are many type of programs that everyone can try each to see whichever fits them better.

I personally prefer overstream which I have been using it in like over a year now. I even did a video explaining how to add CC using overstream "How To Add Captions" :-)

I always encourage others to try out all kinds to pick that fits them better.

  • thank you thank you so much, i am hard of hearing too it would be so much help if everyone on youtube put CC on =)

  • I was thinking about CC but I just couldn't figure it out, so now I do my ASL videos with voice overs for the hearing. It's made it easier for me to accomodate all people.

  • your video inspires me. :) thanks for posting it!

  • Thank you soo much for commenting! I'm glad I've inspired you. :) :) :)
