Is that a new piano? Personally, i have a certain affection for the way an old upright echoes and creaks, but grands have this incredibly sharp sound that can't be duplicated. Impressive as always.
hey DnD. its the same piano, but as I've opened it up it has a brighter tone. I want a grand piano so bad, but they are so big ... maybe some day :) peACE!
I have an aunt with a concert grand in her living room; I'm not very good (i faked my way through lessons as a kid by learning where middle C is on the staff and counting painstakingly up and down from that line until i memorised the song, so i can't even read music), but when i started hammering out an improv in C minor, i swear the thing played by itsself. Amazing machines, but gigantic and expensive.
Yes and no...It seems a nice 'what if?' if playing music were as simple as humming, but at the same time, there's no subsitute for the individualised ways in which we express ourselves through instruments from the kazoo to the one-man-band machine. When you play, you're holding soundwaves in your hand, it's a gift that shouldn't be taken lightly or come easily.
People tend to believe that practicing and playing music is a senicure. Well you know it ain't. Was great to see your sturggle as much as your virtuosity. I lift my hat to your courage to cover Mozart. Salut mon Ami!
oh, i love to learNew music man! somebody requested this piece and getting the kinks out and in to the groove is a constanThing, no battles, jusTryin! peace and cheese (world needs more food it looks like) or tofu! je vous eat!
Tofu Rules! Yea! lol! Tofu and music will save the world...That's what a Beef told me! And he was right lol! But we got to make the tofu, and we got to play music, so let's do it!:-)
mozartrying is a series which has been keeping me busy learning music which tends to increase a state of happiness in most humans experimenting with energy. preferably solar and wind powered.

the instrument can certainly make a huge difference. wouldn't it be nice if everything just played itself!?!?

it does come easily at times, but not always, and so all artists have to find balance, and inspiration, etc... easy come easy go!
