  • Congratulation. "Baptism Saves!"

  • Nice video. Maybe someone knows the answer to this, why is a shell used to hold the water for Baptism? I remember when I was Baptized, I was 22 years old, a gold medal shell was used. Why is this?

Gotta go get ready for Mass! ++

  • whoa, whoa. Calm down. If you don't like our faith that's fine cuz its ur decision but no need to yell at us and insult our faith. I understand that you don't like our faith but we love it and if insult it like that u're insulting us.

  • Where are you getting this information? Why don't you trust God's Church?

  • "6mth BABY was denied christening - why should he have any TRUST in this faith whatsoever?"

The Church did not deny anything. You did.

  • "I shall NEVER have any trust in Catholicism EVER AGAIN! "

    All because of a cake?

    Sheesh.

  • Steve, this is AWESOME -but for you, yours & a FEW alone! My son was born in Zurich, a week before his cousin in South Africa. My sister kindly arranged through her Catholic Church, a DUAL Christening! She generously had 2 cakes baked & decorated for the occasion. I and my 6mth old baby son flew to South Africa for the occasion.

OMG! We were told that this christening would not be possible until I'd attended some weekly courses!

    That's OUTRAGEOUS - as a result, my son at 21 isn't baptised!

  • So you didn't want to take some classes to have your son baptised, and you blame the church? Don't you think it's important to know what you're getting yourself into before you receive a sacrament?

  • "I HONESTLY admitted not having being a practising Catholic myself for 10yrs - my baby was DENIED!"

That's the way it works. We aren't a buffet.

  • Baptism is not a social outing. It is a sacrament.

  • Nice video Steve! Beautiful church! I like especially the pipe organ, which are so rare in Singapore churches.

  • sldrfrchrist, thank you for the kind words.

  • thank you for sharing this lovely moment... :)

  • Reminds me of my baby's baptism. I am really happy I baptised her, even if I thought it was more for convenience back then. Now that I am back with Christ, I am more than grateful I did it! Great video Steve. God bless you and your family.

  • muslador21, this is Blessed Sacrament church in San Diego.
