not all sitcom actors who have this come onstage behaviour are bad actors perse.

for example ed o'neill (al bundy) is a great actor, but in a sitcom filmed before live audience, if you're popular, they applaude you for at least 10 seconds during which you can't just start your dialogue.

@OropherThranduil I wasn't saying it's the case with all sitcom actors. Just Jensen and Jared in this particular scene. My mom watches days of our lives incessantly. And while I hate the show, as an acting student I can appreciate how tough it is to play roles like that completely seriously.

Don't ever compare Sitcoms and Daytime Soap Operas again.

That's a pretty big difference, and is that one recorded before a live audience?

Because like i said that's a whole other level of having to act, hearing how your audience reacts to your work.

Especially for children on series like Full House, Fresh Prince and so on.

who knows how the brady bunch would have reacted to live audence filming.

@OropherThranduil Chill out. In the first place, I was making a joke. In the second, why are you getting so worked up over this? Obviously sitcoms and soaps are different, but the acting methods aren't. You go to work you do your job. Mostly because half of the actors work takes place outside the studio. But never mind that. My original comment was that is was funny to watch Jensen and Jared over act and be silly in the opening of the 'sitcom'. Because that's that they did.
