I think its real, 100kph is only 60mph, not very fast, these cars speedos only seem to go to about 200 so they are max going 120mph, still not so fast (compared to sporty cars today doing 150-200mph). but yeah 100mph racing between cars going about ~65-70mph (highway speeds) looks about like this. Passing cars doing 65 at 100mph is only 35mph faster than the traffic. If you pass a parked car at 35mph it also doesnt seem that quick, so its relative. Still, some intense driving!
