  • Such an original and creative game. Love it. The music complements the game extremely and visa versa

  • It's as if someone took the odd music clip that plays at the beginning of a play and made it way better.

  • NOW LET'S HEAR IT IN REVERSE

  • if u like thos check Limbo

    the ost and the game.

  • I love this song so so much. It couldn't be further than the stuff I usually listen to but it's just so amazing. Brilliant game too. My favourite indy game even.

  • ok that's it! I am playing braid again!

  • Jami Sieber... hmmm who does that name remind me of??? oh its probably one of the a junk artists ive seen on youtube...

  • This is the type of game I would like to create one day. True art. I bow my head to the creator, and hopefully he can create more masterpieces like this. Though, even with this one he changed my world forever, and I can't ask for more.

  • @ChrisMaXIII however He is a She, Jami Sieber is female

  • how the hell does could anyone dislike this? a fantastic game and an amazing soundtrack! whats not to love

  • Jeb brought me here...

  • This shit makes me cry. :'(

    It's so beautiful and melancholic.

  • This is the music that plays when the sun opens across the horizon in Ireland.

  • This game's music is simply amazing... It instills such an awe in me.

  • So...indie games have the best music? Braid, VVVVVV, Machinarium...

  • @vanshma

Braid used excisting songs for the game. It was cheaper this way

  • "esrever ni gniog m'I taht taerg os si emag sihT"

  • my favorate track from the game, I swear i here this on discovery channal in the shows that talk about black holes and string theory.

  • This game is a little wonder, not to mention the fact that's one of the most original products of the last 15 year or so, speaking of games ofc.

Despite the beauty of the game itself, the soundtrack is an amazing experience, this one (Maenam) particularly, it's something I can't stop listenin', both beautiful and hypnotic at the same time.

  • where are 'the two' who dislike this song ! waht a shame !

  • Thumbs up if SheGeek brought you here

  • Save the princess, save the world.

  • Funny how this music can affect you... It's morning, and I came here to listen to some Braid music - it's the best way to start the day - and all of sudden I just remembered the dream I saw earlier this night.

This event just proves how the Braid's music and Braid as a game itself makes your mind work and feel much better. Of course, I know that Braid isn't a game, it's art and a journey.. :)

  • @TheTwilightUnicorn I agree! The rich and immersive storyline of the game is amazing. The soundtracks are just great, this is one of my favorites. Definitely builds some really strong images in my mind :)

  • @Ryano526 You speak the truth. :] Also I must say I'm kind of relieved that they didn't plan to make Braid 2, because this way this Braid 1 remains as the only Braid, sustaining its originality and amazingness. Had they made another game of this series, the storyline would've most likely suffered a great deal.

  • @TheTwilightUnicorn Absolutely! Braid is one of those timeless games that is amazing for what it is. No need for a sequel, and you're right, I'm sure the story would end up getting a bit ruined. Amazing story if I may say again. I just love how it begins by giving you the illusion that it's the generic "save the princess" story, but then adds a huge twist to it. I also really like how everything in the game signifies something specific. The burning city at the start, for example.

  • @Ryano526 You're absolutely correct! And surely you may say it again, there's really no boundary on how much this game should be worshipped and respected.. :) Yeah, I love it too. And even the difference of those worlds reflect those books which you get to read every time you enter a new world.

For example the "last" world with the ring, you can really draw a clear line between the ring in-game and the story where slow pace was mentioned, you know what I'm talkin about? runnin out of space here

  • @TheTwilightUnicorn Yeah, definitely. A really awesome concept, how the ring, symbolizing marriage and love physically pulls you back and slows you down the closer you are to it. Very interesting, and incredibly true when you think about it. The closer you are to the source of affection, the harder it is to let go of it.

Another thing, I always find myself in the earlier cloud rooms re-reading the different book notes. The writing is so great, and nice to read. Makes me wish Braid had a book :)

  • @Ryano526 Indeed. Braid isn't really just a game, it's journey, art, and a source of wisdom.

As for the books, I found them captivating, too. :) They were just something so unique and beautiful. Perhaps we fans could begin scribing some fan-fiction in the form of a book. That way it wouldn't be official, and thus it couldn't really ruin the experience of playing the original game.

  • @TheTwilightUnicorn Yeah, fan made literature derived from the book would be really cool. Another thing, when I write poetry for school, I listen to the different soundtracks from Braid. Very, very inspirational form of music :) Anyway, thanks for this awesome conversation, makes me proud to be a gamer nerd. :3

  • 2 dislikes, 2 MOTHERFUCKING DISLIKES 2 people were responsible for what happened to Manhattan

  • @anonymous4209 , em, is that sarcasm? sorry, im drunk and hoping i missed the joke

  • @jethro081 He's referring to a popular theory regarding Braid's overall plot. Google for Braid's Atomic Bomb theory.

  • @otakughost i was referringg to how fuck all happened to manhatten. i know the theory of which you speak.

  • I love this game but now it wont work D:

  • Truly one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard..I just discovered this charming game on a free download on xbox. :)

  • any chance of sending me this via email? pm me for my address :)

  • Best.

    game-music.

    since.

    Rayman.

  • This is just simply wonderful.

One of THE best games of our generation

  • @Eradicus No it's fucking not are you kidding me? It's a great art style with great music with levels that repeat over and over with a fascinating ending. That doesn't mean it rivals Bioshock, Mass Effect, or Silent Hill 2

  • @kilibot Have to agree with the man there, I say... Braid was good, but not THAT good.

    Still... Braid's style. Pure <3!

  • @CaptainSeasick You win major points for that one, friend

  • @kilibot I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that, but, uh... Thanks? I guess?

Yeah. I say let's just screw the games - love the music.

  • @kilibot It can equal those game games but in other ways like those game you're talking about are 3D with cool weaons and stuff but this game is way smarter.

  • Valid point, but you cannot rival someones opinion with your own, but you can with facts: i.e. I think half life was one of the best games of our generation because it had a challenging story, fun gameplay and it changed the way first person shooters were made forever. Or I think Balders gate was one of the best games of our generation because it was so simple and complex at the same time, etc. etc.

  • @LichKingSkullWart You're absolutely right. Thanks for calling me out on that one.

  • No worries.

  • @kilibot calling a dude out for his own opinion. cool...

  • just as good as castlevania's soundtrcks... love it...

  • this is such a beautiful song

  • i loved this song whenever i started up this great game. and it helped me contemplate the ending when i was finished. truly amazing.

  • I played this game just for the soundtrack...

  • did you know it's impossible to post a youtube comment so stupid that everyone looks at it and immediately realizes it must be a joke?

  • mp3iifffy is the best site to get this mp3. google mp3iifffy.

  • i remember going nuts the first time I played it, you really need a big imagination to figure out some parts

  • Now play it backwards

  • Very nice ambient drone folk!

  • I wonder how many pregnant women enjoy Braid.

  • @Finkster5 wow i really need to play this game because i have absolutely no idea what that means rofl! right now it just seems like a completely random question :P

  • @Finkster5 Wait I don't get it?

  • @Finkster5 huh?

  • @Finkster5 i know righ...wait WUT?

  • @anonymous4209 Mozart effect. Look it up, though I doubt it has much effect at all...

  • @Finkster5 i dont get it why?

  • @Finkster5

    Why ?

  • @Finkster5 why pregnant?

  • Me encanta la música tanto como el juego!
