The Carter family is in it along with Shannen Dougherty. They were only in the final season (1982-1983). This was definately from 1982.

I am glad that Karen Grassle was no longer on the show. She was rotten at playing a teacher. After one first season ep of her playing one they dropped the element until season 8 then they had misbehaving Willie first teach the class so the amateur Grassle wouldn't have to be believable doing so in the last act! Cause she stunk bad trying to pretend to teach!

What? Karen Grassle played Caroline Ingalls, the mother of Laura, Mary, Carrie, Grace and wife of Charles. There was only one episode where she subbed as the teacher for Ms. Beattle. Otherwise, none of what you are saying makes any sense.

@Superbatfan There was actually two eps where she played a teacher (one was an eigth season ep called Stone Soup)! She was unconvincing as a teacher!

@AWorldExposure It is on sometimes, I happened to find it once last year when I was flipping through channels at work trying to find something decent for preschool age kids to watch.

Thanks. Its funny watching these back. I never saw it in the 80's but around 99' 2000 it was in the netherlands, and i was only 9... oh i never wanted to miss one eisode of it!. I have all seasons included the exclusive ones now, and im watching it over and over. One of the best series ever.

I only know that it would have aired on NBC in Nov or Dec of 1982. I don't have the exact date.
