The work of La Tortuga Feliz is no longer supported by local, state and federal officials for reasons of their working illegally, unethically and in a non-transparent way. They demand that guests to the turtle sanctuary pay them per head, this activity is in no way consistent with any charter they might have received by governing agencies.
