I have experienced this many times that my body get rigid and i cant move it even if i want to.....i feel somethings like a witch (lol) or ghost has overcome my body, i try to shout or move, but cant...then suddenly its all gone when someone enters in my room or call my name....is it something relating to astral projection?
You should tell everyone who is near you to not disturb you while you try to astral project, this is all I do know. Don't know what would happen otherwise but see it as something similar to being awakened during a sex dream or something like that. It won't kill you but it might be a little unpleasant. :P

@victorcelmare, the same exact thing happened to me, once I got to the point of paralyzation I freaked out. I could literally feel and see my consciousness leaving my physical body but I was so frightened I tried to keep it in. Once I re-gained control i was also too scared to sleep. The problem is that is all what was supposed to happen, but because it was so unfamiliar it was interpreted to be dangerous, next time I would suggest to remain calm and believe that you're doing it right.

But either way, it could be several things (not necessarily projections either).... The first thing to think about is that you may have been sleepwalking while having a nightmare (sometimes called a night terror). Sleepwalking is extremely common in children. My mom used to find me in all sorts of crazy places and talking about crazy shit during the night.

How long is the wait to project? like when you start the technique how long will you have to wait on the floor or in your bed before projection comes? and once you are there how many times does it take to stay there for as long as you want? @dudeproductions100 It depends on the person. But on average I would say about 10-30 mins. And some ppl can't do it at all because they try too hard. You have to be relaxed when doing this. So if your a naturally jump person you might have a hard time projecting.

There was once when I did a painting of a strange demonic girl that came out of nowhere in my mind, and when my Italian friend saw it on my MSN avatar, he was freaked out and told me of his Astral Projection about 5 days prior to that. Apparently when he astral projected, that same girl (whom I had painted) attempted to possess his physical body and he had to grapple with it in darkness. He was saved eventually by his telepathic girlfriend and her mom who sent him light energy.

How can you tell if this is real and not just a fabrication of the mind? What exactly do you experience thats different then a lucid dream? How fast does time go by, is it a second by second experience or more like a regular dream where time is depicted by the events that happen in sequence.

What happens if you kill yourself while Astral Projecting, like say I'm on top of a 50 story building and i fall off (on purpose or by accentual unconsciously thinking I'm invincible because I know I'm dreaming) and also could you go insane thinking that the real world is actually your dream and you do something that can harm or kill you? HydraulicCinemas... what did "thing" look like? Was it short? Tall? Big eyes? How did it move? Hopefully you remember because it's important. But either way, it could be several things (not necessarily projections either).... The first thing to think about is that you may have been sleepwalking while having a nightmare (sometimes called a night terror). Sleepwalking is extremely common in children. My mom used to find me in all sorts of crazy places and talking about crazy shit during the night.

I'm afraid to astral project, for I've had very scary moments in the non physical world (dreams, projections) once when I was younger I was falling asleep and i thought I was asleep but when I opened my eyes something was standing next to me so I screamed and ran away, the thing chased me around my house, I just remember the fear running through my body. In the morning my mom told me I was running around my house screaming that night, they said I was trying to get away from them when they tried

@HydraulicCinemas well that is sleep walking then is it not or sleep walking astral projection is an out of body experience where body does not move but you mind wanders so you could not actually have been running you were just dreaming and since you were afraid you were pecieving your parents trying to get you as negative entities.

omg i just realised something and now i'm sad.when i was about 6 i was on the couch mindless about to fall asleep kinda.then when i did that it felt like i was lifting up and i thought i was awake.i walked around in this white place and saw someone laying down.i wondered who it was.i walked towards it and it disappeared.then i saw something scary so i said i'm not afraid.then i felt like i was slowly waking up.then i found myself brainless but awake.

Btw insidous the whole possesion part if you watch the movie it said the people (kid and the father) dident know what there were even doing so i suppose the demons felt they were weak so thats why the clinged also its a movie :)

1. I heard that you can be stuck in the astral world in some places with a magnetic shield.
2. is the astral world a parallel universe to this one or is it a completely different place. like can I go to my friend's house in the world.
3. is it true some astral planes have more bad entities than others?
4. can bad entities or evil forces follow your physical body after projection? like be there when you are not projecting and influence you in any way or scare you?

1. No you can't get stuck in the astral world unless, your physical body somehow dies while you were projecting
2. It's pretty much the spiritual world, some parts of it contain weird beings like the head of a dog but the body of a man and other parts are more realistic and vivid
3. Yes the lower planes have worse entities
4. sorry to say this but I dont know, but I've heard this story of a guy who projected and another guy who was projecting came back home with him

How long is the wait to project? like when you start the technique how long will you have to wait on the floor or in your bed before projection comes? and once you are there how many times does it take to stay there for as long as you want? I want to either know someone's experiences or the average.

@dudeproductions100 It depends on the person. But on average I would say about 10-30 mins. And some ppl can't do it at all because they try too hard. You have to be relaxed when doing this. So if your a naturally jump person you might have a hard time projecting.

Dw just fallow what the guy says in this vid you will be fine, be positive and if there is a entity that will mess with you try be positive and there are some that are also deceptive ignore those entities that try to "Trade". Never trade go up with the ones that share just a little heads up ;) P.S No matter what anyone else tells you do not be scared it is harmless.

here's my prob. i try to astral project but while i'm relaxing i see a white light and it slowly gets brighter and brighter and i feel my body shaking very rapidly and it scares me so much that i snap myself out of it. does this mean i'm almost at the point of projectiong? could you plz pm me back with some info?

I'm not scared of dying, getting possessed or getting hurt by negative entities. It's the whole, "whatever you think about in the Astral world becomes real and materializes" that scares me.
Im scared im going to be astral projecting and then think of the exorcist or some other scary thing. And then it will appear in front of me.

There was once when I did a painting of a strange demonic girl that came out of nowhere in my mind, and when my Italian friend saw it on my MSN avatar, he was freaked out and told me of his Astral Projection about 5 days prior to that. Apparently when he astral projected, that same girl (whom I had painted) attempted to possess his physical body and he had to grapple with it in darkness. He was saved eventually by his telepathic girlfriend and her mom who sent him light energy.
