I used to work for a charity that did work in the slums of various African nations and they are cleaner and all of the houses on this show...literally. They take care of the little they do have. Watching this show makes me feel positively anal about cleanliness...

Out of the house 10-12 hours and busy -- yes, a lot of us understand. But you NEED to take some time every day to at least pick up your trash! It doesn't take that long, especially if you can get your kids involved in it. At least have them pick up their things and put them in the hamper -- one part done already.

i saw a lady get her kids taken away once because of the same thing, she lived in the same apartment complex where i used to live i remember my little girl playing with hers and one day i went by her open door to use the laundry facility and i just was in shock how awful her living room looked i couldnt help but look in because of the smell coming out to the hall

why don't some people see dirt? house work is a good way of burning off fat...why is she wearing a curtain? i'd be worried about my child living in a dustbin .she must have a mental problem .night school? not sure i buy that .on the brighter side she seems like a nice soul ..shame but people change ...

COMMON SENSE. 98% of Britain has these tiny tiny narrow rooms and houses, the more crap you put in there the more cluttered it will look. If homes were bigger, there would be more space for all that . They still should throw it out.
