I have to disagree about that. an automatic has the advantage... can never mis-shift or slip by clutch wear down , plus you can palm shift an automatic like a manual and always grab gears hard every time, i have an automatic GT also and pulls she shit out of manual mustangs on the track... being EQUAL IN MOTOR WORK obviously. No disrespect just thought u might want to think that one over.
If your one to buy a car to do Smoke Shows, then maybe i would agree... but a Muscel Car? You loose more HP than anything else... No offernce taken, i just have a grudge on Automatic; whatever car it is. :P

5-speed, 6-speed or 8-speed - If you know mech. you know that a Manual Trans. is better for power transition than Automatic Trans.!! Unless you have 900 WHP and you can afford to loose abit of HP, then get auto... but, for a stock & standard mustang? I'd get a manual!!
