I love your vids Rico. You seem like a very intelligent person, but everytime you convince me about something (which seems easy, I must be stupid) I keep thinking; am I too easily convinced? Aren't I supposed to he critical?
"That the proper population is half a billion... atm, it's over 6 billion. A great way to eradicate some of the population is controlling the food supply". This quote alone was a major eye opener for me.
Everytime, I deceit myslef into eating mcdonalds because its cheap and it tastes good, is actually forcing me to lower my life expectancy, develop health complications which were I have to give my life earnings to phrameceutical companies who, could make a cure if they felt like it.
The problem with Ron Paul is that their economic preferences will indeed affect all, but not in a good way. The poor wont gain anything by a taxcut, and the middle-class man wont gain anything by a bigger corporate america
@haarald93 i think you're a little bit off on this, you should listen to what ron paul says about some of these things. you have to understand the thinking behind what he is saying. thats why he talks so much when he answers questions. you cant just answer any of these problems with a simple 1 sentence answer.
Freemasons, even tho Ron Paul is one. You wanna end the way the world works, end the Freemason's, and the top 13. Freemasons have built kingdoms and put in place kings, as far back as Egypt If I remember correctly. Good vid!
@GrifFungin Another dude who just keeps parroting what the media tells him. Do you even know what Isolationist means? Ron Paul is far from isolationist. He wants to stop ILLEGAL wars, not declared by congress. He wants to solve problems through trade and diplomatic means before going to war. And if a war is necessary then it HAS to be declared. It's called non-interventionism. An isolationist nation is North Korea. Read up on Pauls policies before you talk about things you have 0 clue about.
@RicosBrain I have alot of respect for you actually coming out and talking about this...Most people dont have the balls to talk about it. But what are we going do so about it. Something needs to be created an order if you will.
i hate to be that guy but ron paul really doesnt have a chance to win the republican nomination. its going to be either romney or gingrich and regardless, what both of them are doing is acting as right wing as possible in order to get the votes of the hardcore right wingers. so whats going to happen is when one of them wins the vote, they have a shit ton of flip flopping their going to have to do which is going to fuck them over. and republicans are attacking each other which democrats(me) love.
@irishownage of the republican nominations, i would love for paul to win that so the choice for president between obama or paul would atleast be something i would have to think about. unfortunately, it doesnt look that way.
That missing planet in our solar system is referred to as "Planet X" it's very interesting.
And I'm voting for Ron Paul as well, I feel he'll bring freedom back to America. I live in Alaska and some of these federal laws simply don't really work with with us and other states so I feel that states should have a little more control than the federal government. And I smoke weed. Thats my personal choice. I want them to make it legal so we can boost our economy and also give it to ppl who need it.
Do you have a link to the sumerian tablets because i'm really interested in reading those. Thanks ! Oh and By the way Nice video, very interresting even if I'm Canadian. Keep up the good work Rico.
I respect you a lot more now Rico. You are a very intelligent person.
About the warranty analogy, we did have a warranty, but then Adam and Eve committed the sin and void the warranty, but then we got a new one when Jesus died for us.
Thanks a ton for sharing your views and information. I never had much of an interest in politics etc, but you make it pretty interesting and enjoyable.
Rico, what about healthcare? What about education? These are things that affect everyone, which you said are the things we should focus on. Do you support RP's stance on these things? I think he's got it right in regards to foreign wars and drug legalization, but I disagree with him on just about everything else. I personally believe that someone like Jill Stein would make a better president. If you addressed this in part 2, ignore this.
@QcatDoesGames So you think we should leave everyone else alone, not police the world and end the war on drugs.. but you still think the federal government should take care of us from cradle to grave with health care. and public education which is terrible. I dont know who Jill Stein is but i completely agree with Ron Paul on pretty much everything. Almost nothing federally run will ever be good. Go back to the constitution, they take care of national defense.
@Fyreguy16 Socialized medicine is, on average, cheaper. People living in countries with socialized medicine are FAR happier with their healthcare system than those without it. Life expectancy in these countries is higher. There's no reason to go with RP's ideal system where people are screwed over by insurance companies.
You really think private education is a good thing?
Jill Stein is the Green Party presidential candidate. She has her drawbacks too, but I agree with her usually.
@QcatDoesGames Yes private education is the best option for your child. Do you really think "public" education is really public? Public as in run by the public. Because it is a lot easier for the the superpowers to propagate their agenda through public schooling. You do know that public school systems are bought from different countries as well, right?
@emilm Completely the opposite, actually. Private educators have free reign to teach whatever they want. Public school teachers can't promote a certain god or religion, or prevent an individual from freely exercising their beliefs, for example. Pubic educators are tied to the establishment and free exercise clauses, yet private educators are not. You're merely making a claim without any evidence. Very poor.
@emilm No, public educators are tied to the constitution. How is that a bad thing? How does that "admit" that private education is somehow better?
The problem is that private schools get to choose whatever curriculum they want. If a child's parents don't want the agenda of a certain private school being forced on their child, they should be allowed the option of public education. There's no problem with having public and private education exist simultaneously.
@QcatDoesGames Government is also "tied" to the constitution, now look at what America has become. Parents should choose reputable private schools for children. Rarely do any private schools with weird ass agendas "lets worship aliens" survive. If they are not efficient and successful in their teaching and curriculum, then they don't survive. Btw, in public schools teachers constantly urge students to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. When most do it, you're pressured to do it.
@emilm Parents should choose whatever schools they want for their children. For someone so seemingly anti-government, you seem pretty keen on deciding what schools someone should be allowed to attend.
Who said anything about alien worship? That is one of the most ridiculous slippery slopes I've ever heard.
That's exactly my point. In public schools, students can be URGED to participate in the pledge of allegiance. In private schools, they can be REQUIRED to do so.
@QcatDoesGames It's blatant brainwash. Yep, go have your "oath under God." No but seriously, while we're on the subject of constitution: The constitution does not authorize the Department of Education, and the founders never envisioned the federal government dictating the education policies. Should children be indoctrinated? How about forced medication in some cases? Forced prayer and pledge of allegiance? Current public schools are very unconstitutional, what world are you in?
@emilm "The constitution does not authorize the Department of Education, and the founders never envisioned the federal government dictating the education policies."
Maybe that's because the idea of public education was completely foreign to them. I'm sure a number of the founders also never "envisioned" a country without slavery, merely because it was so commonplace. It doesn't mean that abolishing slavery was somehow wrong.
@emilm This is why Jefferson urged for the constitution to be re-written every couple decades.
All of the problems you've brought up with public education are only worse with private schools. The whole point of public schools is to PREVENT educators from having free reign to do whatever they want. Of course it's flawed. That, however, doesn't mean we should eliminate it and leave people without a public option.
@QcatDoesGames you're not getting it dude. no one is saying abolish public schools. we are saying LET THE STATES GOVERN THEM. NOT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. thats why they are so bad.
@Fyreguy16 Stop arguing with you over Youtube? I "want someone who isn't running"?
You're the one that started arguing with me when all I did was give my opinion, moron. And she is running. Are you retarded?it.
The federal government is NOT explicitly forbidden from running public schools. Clearly you're the one not getting it. If schools are run at a state level, the bias of that state is going to effect the quality of the education itself.
@Fyreguy16 That's what private schools are doing already. Injecting bias. You have yet to give any sort of decent case, and instead resort to making a bunch of claims, and then apparently hoping I don't call you on them.
The statistics are from the Kaiser Family Foundation and United Nations World Health Organization.
What does competition have to do with moving schools to the state level? You're claiming that public schools are responsible for cancer? *Sigh*
@QcatDoesGames no i think you're an idiot lol. you dont understand what im talking about health care or schools. if a private school wants to inject bias, they are allowed to. "The federal government is NOT explicitly forbidden from running public schools." this is why you're an idiot. have you read the constitution? and the fact that you're sitting here running your mouth over comments on youtube is pretty sad. you're just an ignorant kid whos got nothing better to do. sad
Yes, a private school can inject bias, much easier than a public school. That's exactly why I don't think state run schools should be the only other option. You clearly have issues comprehending this.
As for healthcare, you're staring down the facts and flat out denying them. Socialized medicine IS cheaper. Socialized medicine IS more efficient and effective. I have facts to support this claim. You have nothing to support yours.
The constitution, again, does not EXPLICITLY FORBID the Department of Education, as I already said. It never authorizes it either, which is why I brought up Jefferson's idea of re-writing the constitution every 20 or so years. Public education was not even something the founders had considered at that time.
Really? More hypocrisy? Haha. YOU STARTED arguing with me. YOU STARTED running your mouth. YOU are the one who continues to ignore facts and reality.
@Fyreguy16 As I already said I agree with Paul on several issues. It's sad that morons like you are giving him and his fan base a bad name. He's a very smart guy, despite being wrong about some things. Though I can't say the same for you.
@QcatDoesGames lol im just going to stop right here. this is pathetic. you have yet to listen to anything i have said. just resorted to cursing and name calling. congratz
@Fyreguy16 Haha! No response? That's what I thought. That logic stuff is really a bitch, isn't it? ;)
Oh, and I never said that I personally thought of him in a bad light because of you. I said you're giving him a bad name. Nice straw man there.
A word to the not-so-wise: before you waste your time trying to debate someone who claims ahead of time that they're only giving their opinion and NOT trying to debate, try at least preparing an actual argument.
@Fyreguy16 Actually, I responded to and countered every point you attempted to make. You ignored my responses and just kept repeating the same flawed arguments I had already debunked. You didn't have a response to the facts I presented on healthcare. You didn't have a response to the problem of education bias at a state level. All you did was accuse me of doing what you yourself did, then retreated. Just keep repeating your clearly flawed arguments. Talk about brainwashed lol.
@QcatDoesGames you act like you're the smartest man in the world because im done arguing with this kid on youtube. you didnt have a response to the fact i presented on healthcare or school. you just assumed i was talking about school when i wasnt, and i stopped arguing, you just keep typing out your heart and soul to me lol. its really sad
@Fyreguy16 Aww! You're letting me have the final word? Thanks!
I'm not acting smart, you're just REALLY stupid! :)
What "fact" did you present? I gave actual statistics and evidence. You gave an opinion. And a poor, unsupported one at that.
I'm sad? You typed more than I did in your response! Hahaha you blithering moron, you're too stupid to even see how hypocritical you've been in EVERY exchange. Thanks for the laughs, you senseless buffoon.
@emilm seriously, this guy has no idea what hes talking about. im glad there is someone who can explain it to him better than I can. Im not the greatest messenger.
@QcatDoesGames the thing i think you're forgetting. the constitution forbids FEDERAL run public education... which is what we have now... do you understand this?
@QcatDoesGames alright well amilm already told you why public education is bad. no child left behind. that kind of stuff. very bad. every student is treated exactly the same. even though all students are not the same. one size fits all education. and you are completely wrong about socialized medicine. it is always more expensive, quality goes down. and people have to wait in line. everyone is the same, regardless of how sick they are. you must understand this.
@QcatDoesGames if you understand how competition works in the market with prices then you will understand why socialized medicine is always more expensive. you have 1 choice, the government. if it were competitive, we would be able to buy health care across state lines, things like that. the price will deffinitely go down. thats why i say you need to go look at what he says.
@Fyreguy16 Actually, your buddy here is completely wrong. It seems you're following his trend of making statements without any evidence.
If you actually do some research, the numbers demonstrate that you are completely wrong. In 2003, statistics showed that the United States spent $5,711 per capita per year for health care while Canada, for example, spent about half of that, $2,998 per capita per year.
@Fyreguy16 Canada also has a higher life expectancy and lower infant mortality rate than the US. In Germany, Sweden, the UK, and even Cuba, the cost per capita is even cheaper than Canada, and yet their people are still far healthier than ours. I think that is well worth waiting in a little bit bigger line.
@QcatDoesGames do you know why that is? because they are poisoning out food and water. record rates of cancer in this country. giving off massive amounts of radiation. also, your facts there. idk where you're getting those. you didnt site them. for all i know you just made em up. you have yet to answer my question. if you have competition, prices go down. YES OR NO? stop arguing with me on a comment over youtube. congratz u dont like ron paul and u want someone who isnt running.GL
You're a smart and interesting guy, Rico. I'm glad that I found out about Swifty, and in turn, found out about you. Swifty is truly lucky to have such a great friend like you.
thats why i will vote ron paul. he maybe is a racist but if you say your not then your just ignoring real life, he is a homophobe? so what last time i check and last time ron paul checked it isnt the pres, and the goverments job to care about these small issues
now he said something very true, ppl care too much about the others, losing many essential time to it... and in the vote things, you can always vote blank, showing your disagree with the choices of course they will not care (the politicians) but theres always some critics or commentators or whatever that will say that on tv or somthing..
Awomse vids!! and he didnt said all that politics evolve, not only religion and medics.. they do very weird things on the "back doors"
@JKR699 It's just fun to think that the ones voting blank, are always the first to say it's a bad choice/president/gouverment. Not bashing you here, you'r just the first comment to talk aboud it :) I can see why people vote blank, hell I did it.. But thoose people should really just shut the fuck up.. They made a choice of not supporting either of the elected people, there for they have no rights of bashing people.. :)
@KimAagaard i didnt bashed anything there too bro, i just told you the truth, if you dont like the options, you go blank, instead of not even go to the vote, wich is worse... i can vote blank in every elections, if i dont like none of the electors and also no one makes me vote in something i dont like.. like i already heard " choosing between 2 pieces of cr**, its better not to vote at all or in this case, show your desagree with the choices!!
@rw1993n64 It doesn't matter if you think he can win or not. Election is not a BET. You don't vote for the candidate you think will win. That is infantile and reckless. If you don't think Ron Paul can win, that is yours to hold. Still doesn't mean it reflects reality, and it shouldn't dictate if you vote for him or not. Voting for anyone but Ron is doing a huge disserve to yourself and your country and if you can't see that yet, you have some more reading to do.
@Ricosbrain Hey Rico, you got me very interested in those Sumerian Tablets translations that you mentioned. I would greatly appreciate if you can link me to the website or name of the book that you used to learn about it. Thanks!
I started watching this video expecting something dreadful, as i have no interest in any of the topics discussed; yet it seems it was the fastest 13 minutes of my day
I nearly failed religion in school, I dont know much about it.. But I do know the bible says something along the lines of.. If you're gay you should die and burn in hell.. Also something about women, that if a woman gets raped they should be killed by throwing rocks at them. Science flies you to the moon, religion flies you into buildings.
Oh my god, thanks for asking my question (2012 candidate) - that probably more people asked. And im so glad that you're supporting the same guy as me; Ron Paul. He can restore America!
How do you feel about the current views on physics and the world? Neutrinos, quantum tunneling, and the idea of the multiverse for example. Also, I might have missed this in your video but do you believe in a "higher" power even if its a god who isnt answering our prayers rather someone who built the world and is letting it run like a clock? Great video really enjoyed it, hope the next one comes soon.
I knew all of the pseudo-politically active hipsters would jump out to derail anyone who isn't voting for Ron Paul.. It's unfortunate because he is a very interesting and possibly viable candidate, but these kind of fans and their insolence toward those who don't share the same opinion is just disgusting. I can say that I like Romney or Gingrich and get a dozen 17 year olds calling me "brainwashed, sheep, puppet" and all of that other nonsense. Very..very agitating.
@rw1993n64 lol the fact that you are even thinking of Ron Paul in a bad light because of SOMEONE ELSES ACTIONS just proves how terribly stupid you are. Even if all of us were... i dont even know... whatever you think we are... still doesnt mean you should think Ron Paul has anything to do with how someone else acts. "I knew all of the pseudo-politically active hipsters would jump out to derail anyone who isn't voting for Ron Paul.." because we know the truth. you are advocating lies.
@BryantJoy If you are asking about any "absolute" religion, the answer is no. I am also not in any "absolute" political party or anything else that is a form of classification.
@flagermusen He Okayed a racist news letter under his name! Even if he didn't write it himself it's still not right to take credit for it by having it saying it's by you
@cybling It was published in one of his newsletters 20 years ago. He didn't write it himself, and he didn't even know that it was written until years later. Was it irresponsible not to review all the contents of his own newsletter before publishing it? Yes, but everyone makes mistakes and that one slipped past him. It doesn't reflect any of his views at all. If that is the only reason you can come up with not to like Ron Paul (that he's a racist, which isn't even remotely true) you are a dumbass
@flagermusen a quote from my dear friend Token from South Park " If you really think it's not a big deal, then you really are ignorant. That's all. I'm not fighting anybody. "
@flagermusen a quote from my dear friend Token from South Park " If you really think it's not a big deal, then you really are ignorant. That's all. I'm not fighting anybody. "
@flagermusen a quote from my friend Token from South Park "If you really think it's not a big deal, then you really are ignorant. That's all. I'm not fighting anybody."
@flagermusen and I'm not totally ruling out voting for him cause I know there's no other better candidate but if he doesn't make it to the general election im just stuck voting for Obama since the others just fail
@cybling lol flagermusen got everything correct in his response. and ill say it again. you need to stop drinking the medias koolaid and do your own research. start off by watching ricos videos again. then look at his description and the links he put there.. great place to start. stop being so ignorant please.
@Fyreguy16 He Okayed a racist news letter under his name! Even if he didn't write it himself it's still not right to take credit for it by having it saying it's by you
I was relieved when I found out, that u support Ron Paul, because had it been any other candidate I would have unsubscribed immediately. Because I can not understand, how anyone who considers themself intelligent or educated, can justify voting for anyone else than him. People like us, see right through the system. It's rigged, it's set up and it's destroying America. I have a newfound respect for you Rico, I was anticipating that someone as smart as you would make the right choice, and you did.
@flagermusen Completely agree, and by reading your other comments, you seem to be a lot like me. So many brainwashed fools out there on the interwebz. Its very frustrating, because i cant do much but sit here and type out full comments to people still watching and actually believing mainstream news. I watch it just to see what they are lying about on a day to day basis. Anyways, keep it up good sir.
@flagermusen "because had it been any other candidate I would have unsubscribed immediately" that is an absolutely horrible mentality to have. Your prejudice against those who don't support is horribly unattractive. "Because I can not understand, how anyone who considers themself intelligent or educated, can justify voting for anyone else than him" sigh.. close minded prick. you vote based off of what little knowledge you have, and ridicule others for not having the same opinion..
@rw1993n64 All the facts are laid out for you. It's not my problem that people choose to ignore them, or disregard them. The people that still choose to ignore the facts, does not deserve a shot in a debate about the country's future. This is why you are scorned for voting Romney or Gingrich. You only possess half the truth, and thus I encourage you to educate yourself. If Rico wouldn't vote for Ron Paul I would lose all my respect for his intellectual credibility and unsubscribe.
@flagermusen I have nothing against Ron Paul. I have much against a portion of his supporters who are SO blindly and unrelentingly hostile and angry toward anyone who likes qualities of other candidates besides Ron Paul. It's the general attitude that you guys have. This attitude makes people who have good ideas become so radical and set in their ways. Just please tone down the hostility, I'm not one of those "mainstream" idiots. So don't assume me to be one and treat me like one.
@rw1993n64 I'm sorry if it comes off that way, but fact of the matter is, if you are voting for Newt Gingrich, thinking he is an honest politician, you instantly lose all credibility. It's akin to saying Hitler was a pacifist. No one will take your arguments seriously. Your grasp on both history, politics and human psychology leaves a lot to be desired, so I would advice you to educate yourself on the subject matter before trying to school other people in those same topics.
@flagermusen I do prefer Paul's honesty and sincerity and he obviously says what he means. I just don't see people like gingrich or romney as you do. I don't look for the corruption or the dishonesty. Sometimes I see it, but it's not enough to change my mind about their actual policies. Paul will not become elected because the general public is not looking for a radical shift (even a good one) so i focus on which of the other 2 I would like, knowing that Paul won't be there. ok?
@rw1993n64 "Paul will not become elected because the general public is not looking for a radical shift " the general public? lol thats a term the media made up so that you would think if your views didnt match the "public opinion" then you were automatically wrong. another reason why i say you watch too much tv. sitting here telling me and flagermusen that you know what you're talking about and we're being too mean.
@Fyreguy16 When I say "general public" I'm not saying what I heard on the news. I'm saying that based on how people think in general. I have very little doubt that Ron Paul ever reach an audience that he hasn't already reached.
@Fyreguy16 Exactly this. He is still a kid who think he has the world figured out, sitting in front of his TV in his parents apartment. Maybe when the crisis starts hitting close to home, he can't find a job out of college, his internet has gotten censored and his uncle detained for life under the NDAA for protesting, he will realize that he is wrong.
@rw1993n64 Sure, but just realize, that ur flawed understanding of the candidates is the exact reason why America is heading down the shitter. U r 16 trillion dollars in debt, & rising. U will suffer if u dont make th right choice. Th ONLY candidate who is going to cut spending is Ron. Th others have only suggested cuts in th proposed INCREASES, & makes no mention towards a balanced budget. U need to start doing some reading dude, because YOU are part of the reason the country is going bankrupt.
@flagermusen yes i know, like i said. I like Paul. What I don't like is the way his supporters shout and yell at anyone who doesn't support him. I'm not even one of those people, but I see it everywhere on the internet. He was the first one I liked but the more time goes on the more it becomes clear that he won't get the nominee, which is unfortunate, he seems to have the most different and refreshing ideas... but it just won't happen.
@rw1993n64 The reason Ron Paul supporters are usually really agressive in their rhetoric, is because their country is getting raped in front of their noses, and a large majority of the population doesn't give a shit. They would rather sit and watch Jersey shore. The consequences of choosing the wrong candidate will have SEVERE implications on their life, their children's lives and their grandchildren's lifes. A lot is at stake here.
@flagermusen Saying you want to vote for Newt/Romney is a direct threat towards peoples lives and future. So of course it is going to get heated. Again, you have a lot of reading to do, and I hope you will realize what is going on around you before handing in your ballot (if you haven't already voted that is).
@flagermusen Then instead of repeating yourself, why don't you provide references explaining why Romney or Gingrich would be a direct threat to this country and my life? I just think your approach in political conversion isn't welcoming. In fact it's very off putting.
@rw1993n64 Because youtube comments is a really bad forum to do so. I can hardly write a proper paragraph before the char limit is up. I have urged you to do your own research, but you seem to be set in your ways,
I love your vids Rico. You seem like a very intelligent person, but everytime you convince me about something (which seems easy, I must be stupid) I keep thinking; am I too easily convinced? Aren't I supposed to he critical?

i hate to be that guy but ron paul really doesnt have a chance to win the republican nomination. its going to be either romney or gingrich and regardless, what both of them are doing is acting as right wing as possible in order to get the votes of the hardcore right wingers. so whats going to happen is when one of them wins the vote, they have a shit ton of flip flopping their going to have to do which is going to fuck them over. and republicans are attacking each other which democrats(me) love.
irishownage 3 weeks ago
@irishownage of the republican nominations, i would love for paul to win that so the choice for president between obama or paul would atleast be something i would have to think about. unfortunately, it doesnt look that way.

QcatDoesGames 3 weeks ago in playlist More videos from RicosBrain
@QcatDoesGames So you think we should leave everyone else alone, not police the world and end the war on drugs.. but you still think the federal government should take care of us from cradle to grave with health care. and public education which is terrible. I dont know who Jill Stein is but i completely agree with Ron Paul on pretty much everything. Almost nothing federally run will ever be good. Go back to the constitution, they take care of national defense.
Fyreguy16 3 weeks ago
@Fyreguy16 Socialized medicine is, on average, cheaper. People living in countries with socialized medicine are FAR happier with their healthcare system than those without it. Life expectancy in these countries is higher. There's no reason to go with RP's ideal system where people are screwed over by insurance companies.
You really think private education is a good thing?
Jill Stein is the Green Party presidential candidate. She has her drawbacks too, but I agree with her usually.
QcatDoesGames 3 weeks ago
@QcatDoesGames Yes private education is the best option for your child. Do you really think "public" education is really public? Public as in run by the public. Because it is a lot easier for the the superpowers to propagate their agenda through public schooling. You do know that public school systems are bought from different countries as well, right?
emilm 3 weeks ago
@emilm Completely the opposite, actually. Private educators have free reign to teach whatever they want. Public school teachers can't promote a certain god or religion, or prevent an individual from freely exercising their beliefs, for example. Pubic educators are tied to the establishment and free exercise clauses, yet private educators are not. You're merely making a claim without any evidence. Very poor.

@QcatDoesGames You do know that private schools actually require a curriculum, right?
You just said it yourself. Public educators are tied to the establishment, private educators are not. So, you're admitting that I'm right.
emilm 3 weeks ago
@emilm No, public educators are tied to the constitution. How is that a bad thing? How does that "admit" that private education is somehow better?
The problem is that private schools get to choose whatever curriculum they want. If a child's parents don't want the agenda of a certain private school being forced on their child, they should be allowed the option of public education. There's no problem with having public and private education exist simultaneously.
QcatDoesGames 3 weeks ago
@QcatDoesGames Government is also "tied" to the constitution, now look at what America has become. Parents should choose reputable private schools for children. Rarely do any private schools with weird ass agendas "lets worship aliens" survive. If they are not efficient and successful in their teaching and curriculum, then they don't survive. Btw, in public schools teachers constantly urge students to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. When most do it, you're pressured to do it.
emilm 3 weeks ago
@emilm Parents should choose whatever schools they want for their children. For someone so seemingly anti-government, you seem pretty keen on deciding what schools someone should be allowed to attend.
Who said anything about alien worship? That is one of the most ridiculous slippery slopes I've ever heard.
That's exactly my point. In public schools, students can be URGED to participate in the pledge of allegiance. In private schools, they can be REQUIRED to do so.
QcatDoesGames 3 weeks ago
@QcatDoesGames It's blatant brainwash. Yep, go have your "oath under God." No but seriously, while we're on the subject of constitution: The constitution does not authorize the Department of Education, and the founders never envisioned the federal government dictating the education policies. Should children be indoctrinated? How about forced medication in some cases? Forced prayer and pledge of allegiance? Current public schools are very unconstitutional, what world are you in?
emilm 3 weeks ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@emilm "The constitution does not authorize the Department of Education, and the founders never envisioned the federal government dictating the education policies."
Maybe that's because the idea of public education was completely foreign to them. I'm sure a number of the founders also never "envisioned" a country without slavery, merely because it was so commonplace. It doesn't mean that abolishing slavery was somehow wrong.
QcatDoesGames 3 weeks ago
@emilm This is why Jefferson urged for the constitution to be re-written every couple decades.
All of the problems you've brought up with public education are only worse with private schools. The whole point of public schools is to PREVENT educators from having free reign to do whatever they want. Of course it's flawed. That, however, doesn't mean we should eliminate it and leave people without a public option.
QcatDoesGames 3 weeks ago
@QcatDoesGames you're not getting it dude. no one is saying abolish public schools. we are saying LET THE STATES GOVERN THEM. NOT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. thats why they are so bad.
Fyreguy16 3 weeks ago
@Fyreguy16 Stop arguing with you over Youtube? I "want someone who isn't running"?
You're the one that started arguing with me when all I did was give my opinion, moron. And she is running. Are you retarded?it.
The federal government is NOT explicitly forbidden from running public schools. Clearly you're the one not getting it. If schools are run at a state level, the bias of that state is going to effect the quality of the education itself.
QcatDoesGames 3 weeks ago
@Fyreguy16 That's what private schools are doing already. Injecting bias. You have yet to give any sort of decent case, and instead resort to making a bunch of claims, and then apparently hoping I don't call you on them.
The statistics are from the Kaiser Family Foundation and United Nations World Health Organization.
What does competition have to do with moving schools to the state level? You're claiming that public schools are responsible for cancer? *Sigh*
Fucking imbecile.

QcatDoesGames 3 weeks ago
@QcatDoesGames no i think you're an idiot lol. you dont understand what im talking about health care or schools. if a private school wants to inject bias, they are allowed to. "The federal government is NOT explicitly forbidden from running public schools." this is why you're an idiot. have you read the constitution? and the fact that you're sitting here running your mouth over comments on youtube is pretty sad. you're just an ignorant kid whos got nothing better to do. sad
Fyreguy16 3 weeks ago
@Fyreguy16 I'm an idiot? Ha!

Fyreguy16 3 weeks ago
@QcatDoesGames the thing i think you're forgetting. the constitution forbids FEDERAL run public education... which is what we have now... do you understand this?
Fyreguy16 3 weeks ago
@QcatDoesGames alright well amilm already told you why public education is bad. no child left behind. that kind of stuff. very bad. every student is treated exactly the same. even though all students are not the same. one size fits all education. and you are completely wrong about socialized medicine. it is always more expensive, quality goes down. and people have to wait in line. everyone is the same, regardless of how sick they are. you must understand this.
Fyreguy16 3 weeks ago
@QcatDoesGames if you understand how competition works in the market with prices then you will understand why socialized medicine is always more expensive. you have 1 choice, the government. if it were competitive, we would be able to buy health care across state lines, things like that. the price will deffinitely go down. thats why i say you need to go look at what he says.
Fyreguy16 3 weeks ago
@Fyreguy16 Actually, your buddy here is completely wrong. It seems you're following his trend of making statements without any evidence.
If you actually do some research, the numbers demonstrate that you are completely wrong. In 2003, statistics showed that the United States spent $5,711 per capita per year for health care while Canada, for example, spent about half of that, $2,998 per capita per year.
QcatDoesGames 3 weeks ago
@Fyreguy16 Canada also has a higher life expectancy and lower infant mortality rate than the US. In Germany, Sweden, the UK, and even Cuba, the cost per capita is even cheaper than Canada, and yet their people are still far healthier than ours. I think that is well worth waiting in a little bit bigger line.
QcatDoesGames 3 weeks ago
@QcatDoesGames do you know why that is? because they are poisoning out food and water. record rates of cancer in this country. giving off massive amounts of radiation. also, your facts there. idk where you're getting those. you didnt site them. for all i know you just made em up. you have yet to answer my question. if you have competition, prices go down. YES OR NO? stop arguing with me on a comment over youtube. congratz u dont like ron paul and u want someone who isnt running.GL

Just please tone down the hostility, I'm not one of those "mainstream" idiots. So don't assume me to be one and treat me like one.
rw1993n64 3 weeks ago
@rw1993n64 I'm sorry if it comes off that way, but fact of the matter is, if you are voting for Newt Gingrich, thinking he is an honest politician, you instantly lose all credibility. It's akin to saying Hitler was a pacifist. No one will take your arguments seriously.
