And how all the others would constantly remind him that it was best for his own safety, as well as Harry's, that he stay put, but even still he would take extremely risky actions-like going to King's Cross in his animagus form and communicating with Harry through the fireplaces, almost getting caught. Anyway, I've made my point. If you're an HP fan please tell me if you would agree-I probably sound crazy, but I just want to know how others feel about this profound connection I made.
And I thought "What a perfect analogy for Harry's feelings about losing Sirius." And then my mom told me what the song was about, but still I couldn't get that connection out of my mind. Reading all the lyrics I feel you can still make sense of it- like he's basically saying how she feels imprisoned and wants to get out and live her life to the fullest all the time, even if it's risky, and hurtful to him- much like the way Sirius felt when he was forced to stay in Grimmauld place all the time.
Okay, this is totally random and obscure, but I need to get it out-if anyone is a Harry Potter fan I hope you will read and consider this-I know that this song is about his anguish due to his woman cheating on him, but I was first introduced to this song (randomly, by my mom) right after I had finished reading Order of the Phoenix and, obviously, the death of Sirius. And at that time I didn't hear all the words to the song, only "I see my sky turn black and my moon get dark without you" *con'td*
@KARVAYO777 yeah i kind of stayed away from his later work because i thought his voice kind of declined... i've since realized what a mistake that was!!

I can't believe anyone could have written (and sung) so many sweet, poignant and poetic songs and yet be so under-recognized. What a treasure he was.

@KARVAYO777
His voice is at breaking point here, I agree. But I think that combined with the raw recording just adds to the fragility of the song.
