  • Ha ha Shaun Micallef. Love him in 'Talkin' Bout Your Generation' at the moment.

  • two very, very funny people, love judith and thanks for posting!

  • agreed. ) They're the most hilarious Australians. Well and Hamish Blake. )

  • its on itunes

  • the book is great. apparently there's an audio book out of it too...spoken by judith hahahah classic. i must hunt it down

  • Is her book downloadable somewhere on the internet? Sadly I don't have any chance to buy it ;(

  • maybe. i never buy media i download everything as a principal but i think we all should buy it. i hate myself for saying that, goes againt everything i stand for BBUUUTT she's so fucking fabulous it's warented

  • Is this your "my favourite entertainers shouldn't make any money from their work" principle?

  • basically. i paid to see her live performance at the opera house. and then i bought her audio book on itunes. what's your point?

  • My point is "i never buy media i download everything as a principal" is a sure way to ensure that we don't see a lot more of Judith's future work. You renting a seat in the opera house for an evening doesn't pay the audiobook's sound engineers and distributors. I think you need to elaborate on "everything i stand for".

  • why do you care what i believe in? picking a fight over the internet? are you really that bored?

  • 1. Cause it's different from what I believe in, and I want to know why because I might be wrong. 2. No fight. Thanks for not answering any of my questions. 3. Guess not. See ya.

  • cya, i'll be glad not ot answer any of your questions any time

  • ah, i couldn't find the audio book on itunes. how much was it on there? i saw it at borders for $35 or something.

and was her show not the most brilliant thing ever?! i loved it.

  • Do you mean 'King of the Road'? I wonder is it downloadable somewhere on the net.

I'm a big fan of Australian humor, but I'm not Australian.

And it's such a shame that such great comedy talents are available mostly in Australia.

  • Nah, I mean her book "The Lucy Family Alphabet".

You can't download "King of the Road" and it's really hard to find. People I know have found them in opshops, but I haven't come across one yet and I'm a massive vintage shopper. I have the mp3 versions of it (my friend has the cd and put the tracks on her computer) but I want the real thing :-P

  • it's on itunes i just searched it. search for 'judith lucy' in itunes store and it's under audiobooks. it's $24

  • Maybe I should be nice and buy it for $35.

But then again, that extra $11 will probably go to Borders.

  • it's worth it to hear her voice to those words hahaha. it's unique

  • How good is she? I love the book- it's so fantastic.

  • i love her so much, i bought her book
