  • in the beginning of year 2005, the line where always in use

  • R the tracks still there? What happened to all the engines and cars?

  • The line closed about 4 yrs ago and is probably now lifted. Locos and wagons also probably gone for scrap EXCEPT No4 this has been rescued by a UK team called the C2 Project. The loco is based on the Ffestinog Rly in N. Wales. Details of the loco, the rescue and restoration progress can be found on their website that also has their e-mail adderss. They will be pleased to answer questions.

  • Thats sad. Hope that project goes well with #4. I never really liked china steam but when I saw your videos and saw how steam is still running in china I had a different feeling about them. They r something we lost in regular service in the US many years ago. Hope they keep these pieces of history running because once they r gone they r gone forever. Keep the videos coming.

  • Top quality filming - great stuff and shame its gone. What a bizarre gauge 762mm!

  • Not really, 30 inch gauge is pretty common.

  • doh! yes of course when you convert to imperial.

  • I guess it is a weird number though in mm.
