  • What a pity there are so many who claim to be Christians who just don't get this and who never, ever will. They are the ones Jesus talked about saying "they have their reward".

  • ok! i am born again and they lost me when a bunch of church people went to the homeless camp, the video said they were there to take care of their basic needs? i saw none of church people take the homeless to theirs homes to get them a place to live. read matthew 25:31~46!

we are commanded to "love your neighbor as yourself". who is my neighbor? everyone! so basically i say i love you and leave you on the street and then say, God bless you? don't get me wrong~ Repent and Believe the gospel!

  • Why is this woman not the Pope?

I'm serious. We have a Nazi Pope, why not a tranny Pope.

I bet she would be awesome.

  • Christian's didn't make the Law of the Bible, we were chosen to tell the Truth of it. Not everyone that calls themselves a Christians is, but this documentary & Unbelievers don't look for the difference or even explain it. Why is it hate to speak the Truth to save your soul? God loves us but he can not look upon Sin, U must repent & turn from Sins, proclaim Jesus as the Son of God, that he died & raised from the dead for our sins. Study the Scriptures & Pray for understanding. God Loves You!

  • Evolution 4 lyf

  • I understand the jist of the documentary...However, I was disappointed there was no mention of scripture. Yes. I am a Christian. and YES. Jesus loves you so very much. Accept him into your hearts and lives today.

  • How come Christians always have to qualify what they say about LGBTs and atheists, "we love them, we just don't approve of their lifestyle?"

Who the hell are you to approve of anything? We don't approve of YOUR lifestyle, how do you like them apples?

  • @NotADood whatever floats your boat.

  • @chill0141414 Back at you, sport.

  • Homosexuality is weird & creepy

  • @jamessaxecoburg You're weird and creepy.

  • I finally got a chance to watch this movie on Netflix and just shared this trailer with friends on Facebook. I am a Christian, A Gothic Rock Music Journalist, A Father, and a fairly ok guy.... I too wanna say I am personally sorry to any member of any Non-Christian community, Gay, Straight, Goth, Satanist, Metalhead, Rivethead, Psychobilly, Deathrocker, that I am sorry for years of abuse Christians perpetrated upon you and I will stand with you against that abuse. God loves you, so do I.

  • What you have is empathy, not love. You feel sorry for homosexuals, just like you feel sorry for atheists, and anyone who doesn't believe in your salvation. Empathy is different from love. True love means you love every aspect of a person, including their homosexual nature. Love the sinner, hate the sin? You're just making excuses for your discriminatory belief system. Better than the god hates fags crows? Sure, but you create the cultural space for them to exist in.

  • @thirdeyetc I think it's funny when people say christians are judgemental and yet I hear alot of talk of christians being judged from those same people. I am a christian and I read comments all the time, people dont know me but they judge, they say I hate homosexuals and I dont. Jesus Christ loves sinners but because he does, he knows what's best for his children. God wants a life for us far more better than we can imagine, I just pray that people will see their need for God in their lives.

  • It's dividing us because they're judgmental and mean.

  • Tuff subject How do love the sinner, but hate the sin, and tell people that play with fire are going to get burnt. The same should go for those who commit adultery, and commit other unrighteous deeds, It tuff to warn people without getting emotional. But it seems to me that it is easy for the other side to critize, because they think they are right.

  • I am a muslim...If this video is what Christianity stands for, I am with you all...this is what god wants all of us to do..Live, peacefully, understanding each other.......I love this video...

  • Most of the GLBT Christians I know grew up Christians and later determined that they were gay and had to reconcile it with their faith. As for myself, I was raised in a non-religious background, determined that I was homosexual at about 14, and then at 16 decided to become a Christian because I discovered how amazing the faith that the Lord Christ delivered to the Apostles is; in contrast to the bastardized version cultural pseudo-Christians make of it.

  • I'm straight, but I cant help but HATE how "christians" hurt gay people.. Jesus said to love one another, and as far as I know, true love doesnt matter how someone is (in or outside).

I'm a believer myself, but I have much more friends who are athiests/agnosts (or something else) than christian friends, because many will simply judge me for who I am (i'm pretty eccentric). Sucks, but I'm willing to follow Jesus his teachings cuzz I know it's right to do good to others.

  • @VenomLeon I have been a Spirit Filled Christian for over 30 yrs, I have Never met a True Believer that Hated Anyone! Scripture tells us to love our enemies too. I don't believe everything I hear on the News or read on the Internet, base facts on the Truth based on two witnesses & you will not be deceived. God loves all his Children, but he can not look upon sin, so you must repent, ask for forgivness & proclaim Jesus as the Son of God who died for your sins & raised from the Dead.

  • Neato. It's very hard for a human to accept difference. We constantly associate ourselves to simple symbols like Christian or American when all we really are is human. I'm human and you're human, that's it. When people start seeing this common thread through everything I think that's where the words of Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Allah, etc etc make sense.

  • R.I.P ROGER.. I konw where im goin im gay an I HATE IT. I really do people think it's a choice but it's not i was born like this. Im always depress cause I HATE BEING GAY AN I WANT A FAMLIY

  • @dgmba1989 Don't hate being gay, also str8 people have their own problems. The day that you stop hating being gay and accept the wonderful person that there is inside of you, you will become a happy person. You want a family?, who told you you could not have one? just look around and see the bunch of gay people who have been conforming beautiful families. Keep going my friend and don't let fanatic people fool on you. you are not a sinner you are a child of God.

  • @andreslakemary Look up 1John3

  • @andreslakemary

That's not exactly the right approach.

Equality with respect to the matter of "sinner" should not be met by simply abdicating it. Rather, the only reasonable way to meet the respect and equality in light of the reality of sin is to realize that we are ALL sinners, heterosexuals, homosexuals, or anyone of any sexual orientation. I myself am a homosexual and I can tell you with certainty that I am a sinner.

  • @dgmba1989 My heart goes out to you---I can really sense your desperation ---but all preaching aside---the Truth WILL and can set you free---really---so many do not realize that Jesus Love is supernatural and can truly do anything<3 even change you and give you a family. If He saw that you needed a physical mountain removed for His glory and for your good---He'd do so:) That said---this emotional/spiritual mountain can be removed by Him---speak to the mountain and it shall be removed.

  • @dgmba1989 One more thing---I strongly suggest that you get a hormone panel---whether it be a saliva or blood test----your hormones are most likely whacked and once you find out which ones are depleted/dominant---you can use BHRT to balance them----it is a true blessing----that will greatly help to change your life forever

  • @dgmba1989 I'm so sorry that you feel that way, and I sincerely hope you learn to love and accept yourself.

  • @dgmba1989 there are over 1500 species in the wild that have been WELL documented as being homosexual. This is a natural variation. My "christian" brother thinks that being gay is just a bad choice some people have made..DRIVES ME FRIGGIN CRAZY! I'm an atheist and even a dumb ass like me knows better than this way of thinking. Contempt prior to investigation is what they have.

  • Live and let live people. It's not that hard. As long as someone isn't infringing on the freewill of someone else, then just let them be. Live your own life as YOU see fit and don't try to influence others with your own beliefs. If you love God, awesome, keep it to you f*cking self. If you hate God, awesome, keep it to you f*cking self. Or find others who believe what you believe and share it with them. This is getting so old it's ridiculous....

  • just out of curiousity....were there lorry loads of atheists helping out after Hurricane Katrina....

  • @0871368021 How could u? after seeing this film come away with such a different understanding. Who asks a question like that? you are only concerned with being right. This film is about humanity and love being like Jesus who washed people's feet. Not making snide remarks about people who are different than you.

  • @kindahokey how could i what exactly? what snide remark did i make? I said there was only ever one person without sin - Jesus... and I was responding to a someone who asked "Is sexual sin inside the marriage acceptable"? my reply was no sin is acceptable.if i offended you then i am sorry.

  • @0871368021 I agree with the no sin is acceptable part. but how would you have felt if i asked "Were their loads of Christians helping out after hurricane katrina" I suppose you could try and explain it away as "oh it was just a simple question " But the truth is the truth. It's about motivation for asking the question. I also believe God cares more about motives as well. I think there's some verse about it you know "searching the inward parts.....or something....

  • @0871368021 I really pray for your sake that you are not the one spamming my reply to you if so this comes to mind 1.lying by omission is or cover up is still a lie 2. Cowardice 3. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear but........."

  • @kindahokey im not spamming your reply. I have no need to block it. i didn't do it.someone else did. Dont worry too much, i replied to your comment.God Bless you.

  • He called it a "lifestyle". It's like saying to a Christian, "I don't have to accept your 'lifestyle' in order to love you." I think just using the word "lifestyle" implies a whole different connotation. He still hasn't learned.

  • did that man admit to hazzing that kid ? seems like a issue for the law ? hes just as guilty ? lots of closet gays bash outted gays.

  • There's still this question though...and let's get real...people go to work together and treat people a certain way (I'm leaning toward being respectable, selling someone on an idea, getting along in general). But imagine going to a meeting and telling an investor in the company you work for their idea for the new project is too greedy and selfish and promotes homosexual behavior. You might THINK that, but you find a nicer way to communicate and look for better ways to bring up concerns right?

  • Look what Jesus says in Matthew 10:34-36. The reason for division is that people do not believe His Word. Gay bashing is NOT scriptural, but preaching against ALL sin is, including ALL forms of sexual sin outside of marriage. Also, Christ didnt come to bring unity HE said in Matthew 10:34-36.

  • @notmycity

so is sexual sin inside the marriage acceptable?

  • @inevada no sin is acceptable.

  • @0871368021 i thought there was only one without sin

  • @inevada ??? my response was to your "sexual sin" comment..... Jesus is the only ONE without sin.

  • Just finished reading the book, Amazing. I want to watch the video now.

  • Just finished reading the book, Amazing. I want to watch the video now.

  • I liked how this film turned the blame away from soley the "heathens" and put a lot of it where it properly belonged--on both sides of the argument. I think that if more Christians watched this movie and took it to heart, this continent would be an entirely different place.

  • I need some believers to help promote a video oriented toward non-believers (otherwise they wont watch) but the video, in an entertaining way, proves evolution is a lie.

  • @PERKINSPRODUCTIONS1 How exactly?

  • Actually, LoveOutLoudMedia and jstasur Matthew 22: 36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37 Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.". The 2nd was just as important. Thus Both establishing that the new covenant was one of LOVE.

  • I agree with you on the LOVE part, but the FIRST is "Love God". Peeps don't really know how to love each other unless they know the Love of God. :)

  • I saw a clip of this movie on The Church Channel. It looks interesting.

  • Yes I agree with jstastr, the GREATEST command is summed up "Love God & Love People". Can't leave the "Love God" out of the equation! We are able to "Love People" because our love "For God" :)

  • Watched a clip of this movie on TBN. The man speaking to an audience (I believe it was the man who wrote & directed) said that the greatest command was, "love one another." That's not true. Jesus said it was, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." 2nd was, "Love your neighbor as yourself." The Gospel is John 3:16. This leaves the question; will u believe? As Christians, we are not 2 judge to world - we r 2 share to Gospel.

  • Amen...

  • I love this video! It drives me nuts that I have to explain to people that my faith has no hatred in it, and that people are surprised when I say you can be both Christian and pro-gay rights. And the bits about Katrina and the homeless were especially touching.

  • Dude!!! 23 comments ONLY??!! LOL!! Yew MUST be HEAVILY CENSORING!! (jestlikeJesuswoulddew..huh..hehehe!!)

  • may the Peace of the Lord be with you....

  • It is kind of funny that Public Education in the USA was presented by the backers as being a way to assure that all children would be on the same page, learning the Bible, when that was universally desired by parents; one BACKER actually said if the Bible were ever taken from school, that would be time to eliminate public funded schools. But now, all are TAXED equally, but sent into an enforced "religious free zone" where my kids were told to say "holiday tree"...So Christians now FUND atheism.

  • This makes me smile :)

  • 3rd- I feel if everybody was forced to believe what I believed God would be dissatisfied. He gave us free will in the beginning for that very reason, to choose to love him. Having God in schools isn't as big a deal to me as it is for the kids that don't agree to speak up about it or not be forced into it like so many are.

  • And that isn't to say that is always the case, but sometimes people feel the need for an alternative that won't affect how they believe. How is us believing something and wanting it taught any different from you wanting sciences taught?

  • 2nd- Oh I know. And there's plenty of debate on the very subject in the Church, too. This is partly because Christians often offer a God that limits you; don't do this, that's off limits, etc. But that isn't the thinking presented in the Bible or in the early Church or what Christ lived out. We are supposed to be free radicals of the love Christ showed us. Everything else is very unimportant. Some Christians just tend to make those unimportant thing dogmatic.

  • 1st- Creationism is a belief system, but there IS a science behind it and a lot of scientists are beginning to see it that way as well. (refer to the movie "Expelled")

  • (thank goodness for private schools where that's an option :) )

And if you (secularists) do disdain us for wanting equality for our beliefs and yours, isn't that a little unfair? I'm sorry some of Christ's followers (which I again allude to my first statement and the point of this video) aren't on the same page with every issue like this, but ultimately our God has given us free will to decide and have opinions like this.

  • No one is trying to take your beliefs from you. But what we won' t have is pseudo science in the classroom meant as a tool to propagate your evangelical agenda.

You can think of "your god" giving you "free will" all day long. That doesn't give you the free will to teach my daughter BS in school. Do that in your own home school to misinform your own kids. No one is trying to take away your right to be uninformed.

  • I am not sure why people don't realize that Christians are people too. I will apologize, however, for the fact that we often live below the standards we profess. We do. I do sometimes. But God made us new creatures and we aren't bound to sin now. So does anybody want to talk about that?

  • It's not about what you believe - it's about what you don't believe and propagate it as truth - the sciences (evolution & cosmology).

If you want to exchange what feels good for lies, that's your business, but your ilk wants to put it in our education system and is vehement and slanderous about it.

And then you wonder why we (secularists) disdain you?

  • I am not sure where you are coming from on the evolution creation debate, but regardless I will state I am definitely for creation.

And if you are talking about exchanging my belief in God as my creator and yours, for science? Which I don't do... but putting my faith into schools, at least as an option, than yes. I believe too many people are forced to read into something that is still theoretically based. If you are going to offer one system of beliefs in the sciences, you gotta offer em all

  • Creationism isn't science. This is what I'm talking about. You're not literate on the subject.

According to your logic if we teach astronomy should we teach astrology as well? And the Flying Speghetti Monster?

apparently you don't know what the word theory even means - it doesn't mean "guess." In science it means "frame work of FACTS."

It's this sort of illeraticy I don't want in my daughter's education and has no reason or justification being there.

  • It's funny that when I came to Austin TX 24 years ago, I heard speaker on the Christian station saying Evolution is not even a theory, because no proof exists, no macroevolution is being observed today, no life being created. Since I was coming out of my secular indoctrination, I thought Christian Radio guys were offensive NUTS. Funny to read a materialist saying here that CREATIONISM is not even a theory!! This is why this movie is so needed, with everyone lining up and regurgitating stuff.

  • Um, I suppose Christians in your church might. But the idea of "sin" and substitutionary punishment and the like is a) a scapegoat for ethical behaviour and b) perverted and wrong.

In other words, you have no idea how immoral and unappealing the idea of god you've accepted sounds to real non-believers.

  • Yogurtking, though its popular to say that formerly gay Pxtians were never gay, and that Christians cannot know how a thing feels, the Bible specifically deals with this, when it says, "Such were some of you" and "not many were called who are great in this world," etc., reminding Christians of their pasts, & also that Christ was tempted in all ways we are. He can COUNSEL us, though he didn't sin. But the idea of substitutionary death by God for us IS SO DIFFERENT from all others, it WILL offend.

  • i will make this simple

Sodomy is a sin JESUS is the way Out

i was in this sin but The Lord delivered

me and set me free jan 2nd 2005 1st cor 6:9-11

    .....Such were some of you................

God is not the author of confusion but of Truth and Love

now you are without excuse you have been warned

  • They aren't warned because you told them. They're warned because the Bible says so. I wouldn't give yourself too much credit.

It's as the gentleman said near the end of this clip; You don't have to legitimize or agree with someone's lifestyle, to be their friend or to love them.

  • Tomorrow I head of to do an inner city mission and this movie just really inspired me to just be... well this is the best way i ever heard it described

"if being a christian was a crime, would there be enough evidence to convict you?"

  • How does the world desire to hear God's message to them? He is exclusive. Jesus said, "No one comes to the father(God) except thru me." This is not an inclusive religion. God wants conformation to His standard. There is forgiveness thru Jesus and the cross and while many Christians, or those that claim the title, don't always show forgiveness we are saved because of God's grace. If we deny these truths that god has revealed then we are failing him. If we tell the Truth in an unkind way...

  • I would love to hear comments on the following question and statements. Jesus called people on their sins. The Samaritan woman knew he was the Messiah because her people called the messiah the Revealer. Christ revealed her sins. She became a follower and Jesus told her to sin no more. How can Christians love people if they don't reveal and give the charge to not sin? A better question to ask is how to do this in a way that lets them know we, and God, loves them & doesn't want them to sin.

  • This video most definitely encouraged my heart. That God LOVES all people... regardless of what is going on in their lives. If only people knew who Jesus REALLY is. He hung out with the prostitutes, tax collectors, and the non religious. He truly loves us. I'll never forget when God revealed his LOVE for me and UNSHACKABLE acceptance for me. Thanks for posting this.

  • The message of what it really means to be a Christian - literally, Christ-follower - comes through loud and clear in this video. It's one that all Christians should watch.
