And although not note for note, and not perfection, which lets be honest a perfect, flawless imitation of the studio recording is the only thing that will satisfy some people. Unless its within a bollock hairs width of the original some people wont be happy.

I dont think they are trying to imitate note for note. The general feel of the song is good, Id rather this than a robotic flawless imitation anyday.

hey all you guitarists out there, guitars are just MOSTLY for show. you can take a Squier strat and make it sing through the right amp. dont waste money on fancy guitars. by cheap ones, (ibanez, epiphone, used guitars, etc.) and spend money on amps. i personally recommend brit amps like VOX or Marshall. but thats my taste. always remember TONE FIRST

THX! Go to the Ultimate Guitar website and search Over the Hills and Far Away, the best tab is version 3 (the one with 5 stars and 66 ratings). Scroll down to Guitar Solo. There are 2 parts and you would be playing the bottom for the rhythm. It may be hard at first and you may want to transpose the part that's at the 4th and 2nd fret by moving it 5 frets over and 1 string down. So you would be playing the same thing at the 9th and 7th fret but on 1 string lower. If you need more help message me.

Go to your local guitar store and pick up a studio/custom and play it for 10 minutes. Then pick up a standard and you'll know right then and there which to get ;). Let me know!
