Sorry to say this but this sounds awful. When such a beautiful alapana is being played on the Gottuvadyam (acoustic that too!), I don't see the need for cacophonous piano sounds there.
@curiousmoron thanks for the comment - I do agree with you in part. However what we did is a melange of five pentatonic modes using step succession. Had you been at the concert, perhaps you would have gotten the context of what we were doing. But, dismiss away - its your right :)
