  • He is so inspirationally strong emotionally! He really knows who he is and wears his skin proud. I really admire him for that.

  • want his jacket noweh !!! :P tis nom

  • It's called a San Francisco accent,in gay slang,that is.

  • I genuinely like Johnny Weir. (Enjoyed his appearance on the Jay Leno Show a few weeks ago.)

  • johnny is fun!!!!!!!!!

  • He look like russian singer Mike Mironenko look his clip Esli Ti Uidesh Seychas

  • @0Tanja0 yes he does, i just googled it and they look so much alike

  • Johnny is absolutely adorable and he is very fun to watch. I love him!!!!!

  • greating from Russia!! Hope in your soul you are still Russian,

  • At the beginning when he was staring into the camera I started to laugh. He reminded me so much of Bruno at that split second!

  • I can't believe it is even a question whether or not he is good for the sport!!! He's a great skater, and that's allt hat should matter.

  • LOVE IT. !!!! Authentic and true, Weir is in his Wonderland.

More great listening to "Wonderland" at Hollywoodswan90 on YouTube. SWEET!!!

  • johnny you are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Johnny you DID win bronze, they stole it from you!

  • I can't believe he would give up skating all together. I can see him doing special appearances and maybe working with kids. Whatever he does I think he's fantastic!!

  • Unfortunately it was his last Olympics... He said he's quitting the sport to start a new carrer in fashion design. By the way, the clothes used during the performances were designed by himself. I hope he changes his mind.

  • Johnny Weir is amazingg!

anyone who thinks otherwise should just suck a giant cockk. :P

  • im not really fond of gay people but this guy is just amazing :D

  • i can't believe in this day and age...people would actually say and aren't ashamed to gay "I'm no really fond of gay people" wow, this is 2010 people!

  • wtf?

  • I know, right!

  • I love that he can be himself and a great sportsman at the same time! It's beautiful to see more people accept gay people as a part of society, and I hope that more will stop judging gay people as lesser people.

  • Apparently a Quebec TV crew's commentators called him Gay & a not very goodt influence on the sport in the Olympics. Whoops, & the Gay & Lesbian PC nuts jumped at his defense. Wether he chooses to come out of the closet/not if he is Gay is his personnal business. He is very talented, but he draws a lot of attention to himself as the male Diva of the sport, both from attacks from anti-fur activists to support from Gay & Lesbian groups . Maybe the people running the sport forgot to have fun.

  • @ 56LC...LOL, I just found out about Johnny Weir because of that news item about the 2 veteran broadcasters. They're jokesters and found their comments funny. It's funny that yet another lobby group comes out of their closet to dump on peoples opinions and observations.I feel it's ok not to support people you don't feel comfortable with..no one has the right to dump on you for that either. Because with all the fame comes power to influence if Weir decides to come out and hurt traditonal values.

  • Johnny Weir is amazing! He's sooo amazing!!!!!!! O My Gosh!

  • i think hes good for the sport..figure skating is boring as hell but when i watch him its not boring at all

  • I love this kid. He embraces who he is and gloriously so. He is redefining the sport and made me start watching ice skating. He's the one to watch.

  • yepp gay and AMAZINGG!!!!!! he redifines the sport

  • im so pissed the scores they just gave him that was bull his jumps were clean omgggg i hate evean

  • @bspears121

yeah, that was a beautiful skate, but i'm not a skater so i can't judge the technical aspects of it (other than that he landed everything.. the NBC commentators said the level of difficulty in his program wasn't as high as the others'. but his and takahashi's and plushenko's were the only ones interesting enough to hold my attention all the way through. the rest? mostly monotonous semaphores.

  • really you cant spell four shut the hell up and mind your buissnes

  • johnny weir is my fave figure skater (either than patrick chan, cuz im canadian!!!) this guy (or patrick chan) should totally win gold this year! he is sooo awesome! hes definitly great for the sport, he rox, hes soo cool, and he is awesome! dont take the pressure johnny, just know that u can do it, cuz u rock and u can do it!:)hes awesome, and hes funny! hes sooo awesome! the reason its less scary than the last olympics, cuz its in canada! go canada! go johnny weir! :P :)

  • it's so annoying when people say "fave"... are you people that lazy that you can't add 4 more letters? jesus

  • shut up jack ass. its just so much faster to type with little short words! fave

  • They, (devon199710) like Johnny, have style....obviously something you know nothing of..

  • me love johnny weir.,<3

  • i could see how he seemed bitter, but it was the truth, just bc other ppl think hes not good for the sport it doesnt mean it will affect him in any way .. and its not as if those newspaper ppl have control over the judging of his programs.

wish all the luck to him at the 2010 olympics

  • I like his skating, but I sense a little bitterness in some of his comments. Still I think he will be able to sort himself out and do well. Good luck for the olympics!

  • I don't blame him for being bitter - it's sad how some of his more amazing performances get ignored because some people don't like his personality...they'd rather him pretend to be a quiet, polite and calm person when he is a boisterous and outgoing personality. It would probably be smarter for him to tone it down, but he is skating for himself, not just to get medals.

  • man i hate people that just wanna bring individual and artistic people down- whats with the "are you good for the sport ?" shit?, fuckin flame on Johnny you the mack.

  • Am I the only one who laughed out loud when he said "he's not a judge or someone who's sleeping with a judge" LOL he's so funny!

  • Johnny's great for the sport and charismatic. I might not be tuned in now otherwise.

  • For some strange reason, I really like this guy. Johnny is kinda cute. He reminds me of an old boyfriend.

  • @ propaganda63

your old boyfriend is GAY !

  • I don't appreciate your negative comment sir!

  • You are great and you will give the world the best. thank you

  • I love this guy. The world needs more originals like him.

  • Susan, I luv your hair style (very cute & it looks good on you^^) as much as your JGW interview^^ Johnny's outfit matches to Lady Gaga's image, I think^^ Anyway, I absolutely agree with JCSAMEX & garbanzo314, so I gave my thumbs-ups. What he & other figure skaters do is a phenomenon and I give so much respect for their hard work to show us very beautiful & artistic sport. Without figure skating event & his performances, the winter olympics will be so much boring^^ super☆^^

  • I actually like the way he is. You know, very genuine, authentic. He makes you see what the real personality of a figure skater can be rather than just poising, smiling and pretending to be a tender and kind guy to others or a hypocrite who stays in the closet just to be "good for the sport". You go, boy! Best luck at the olympics!

  • Ha, dumb questions at 3:49 - 3:58. "do you think you're good for the sport" i mean wtheck?! I actually find it offending, really.

  • You miss the point. There were a bunch of articles published in the past week that were cutting on Johnny and questioning whether he was good for the sport. Susan just gave him an opportunity to respond in his own words instead of getting filtered through a journalist. If anything, he provided a spirited defense as to why he's a strong positive for skating -- a point of view that you didn't see in those pieces.

  • And why do you care so much as to whether I've seen the articles or not? Because I haven't, so you don't need to eat out on me. I'm just voicing my opinion on what I'm hearing HERE, what I'm seeing HERE. And I still do find it a dumb question.

  • @daretodream86 Oh calm yourself! It is not even that serious. She asked a simple question.

It's obviously a question he's been asked in some form before and had an excellent response to those articles.

  • Oh shush yourself, what I said was like sometime ago, and I didn't even remember about it until you brought it up again. Why are you so bent on it? Since you yourself are getting quite heated up, so - my advice: go calm YOURSELF down.

And geez, this is getting funnier by the moment. *sigh* I like Johnny so why the ruckus huh? Grow up.

  • I think that the interviewer annoyed him. Not something good to do to Johnny while he's training for the Olympics. It can mess with you head. Sorry.
