@BryterLayter26 i think sub genres can often be pretty harmless & helpful sometimes. yeah, genres like trip hop and folktronica can sound gimmicky or misleading, but you could argue the genre of 'electronic music' is unsound - it's a definition that often doesn't account for the recordings/samples with acoustic/organic origins or qualities that can often found in 'electronic' music. i'd rather hear a music act described as minimal techno for example than electronic music - not nearly as vague

Gegen Pantha du Prince wirkt Paul Kalkbrenner (dessen Hype ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen kann) diletantisch. Pantha schafft es, trotz der minimalistischen Instrumentalisierung seine Lieder niemals leer und die Beats niemals flach wirken zu lassen, was mich persönlich bei diesem Genre am meisten stört. Pantha du Prince ist neben Trentemøller einer der besten Vertreter dieser Musikrichtung, meiner Meinung zumindest nach.

@fastkomplett ähm wegen Kalkbrenner... Also jetzt erstmal hier mit dem anzufangen.... Und warum der Kalkbrenner hyped ist doch klar. Desöfteren landen seine Tracks in fast allen Dj charts. Gebrünn Gebrünn war lange lange Zeit bei fast allen DJs auf Platz 1. Und der endgültige Hype durch den Film, ganz klar. Und ich muss trotz dessen, dass jeder trottel den kennt sagen dass die Tracks vom Paul spitze sind.

vergleichsweise bringt Du Prince mehr Tracks raus und startet keine 2 Jahre lange Tour und erfreut sich an seinem Film.

Wobei mit deiner Aussage möchte ich dir Recht geben, minimal/techno ist auch eher so mein Ding, trotz alle dem ist Paule zu "sesshaft", ist meine Meinung!

@Gosu85 Sorry ,but house is that banging beat you know consistent 1,2,3,4.Club house is stuff like justice maybe deadmau5.Now this, if you wanted to label it it would probably be minimal/experimental techno but its fine as music to me ,because genres don't really matter outside dance music and i doubt this will be played in clubs.(well up-till when i get a job) so "music" is fine for the moment.

@synth77 At first, thank you for beeing the first guy that is trying to be serious. I dont wanted to play my student´s card but Im studying Beat- and Sounddesign. I´m also a Dj in munich. And I do have gigs, next is in march at Noch Fragen Bar/Club, check it out ;). In school we did learn whats the difference between House and Techno. Its the rhythmchange caused by placing a percussion on a 16th in each Bar. So this IS House. Yeah its minimal but it is what is.. House. Sorry for bad english ^^
