So after a week of forgetting the desire behind the symbol do I just place the sigil in a random spot in my house to peek at it occasionally or am I suppose to charge it somehow after that week?
Another way of doing this would be to use the E as the F also couldn't you? and the B for the C since the shape of the C is in the B and the shape of the F is in the E. ;)
Your video describes in a nutshell the most fundamental requirements for effective sigil-making, but I'm curious - have you experimented with any personal stylistic flare? Once i made my own medieval style grimoire rather like the Goetia or the Cthulhu Mythos (always a favorite with chaotes). I made "servitors" with their own sigils and names and histories and stuff like that.
It actually worked a little too well. I got carried away with it and it became as hard to use as the Goetia is today :P

Isn't it great how flexible and open-ended sigils are? I got introduced to chaos magic way back when I was 14 (I'm now 27) and since then have experimented with lots of stylistic choices for making sigils
Most of my sigils are mantras because I'm a big language-head ^_^
Lately I started reading the Dune novels again and realized how much fun a sigil magic system based around that would be! I'm currently trying to turn cinnamon into Melange lol
i wish to do our Fathers will. Our Father is the most powerful and needs no sigil.. isn't that fantastic?
