Great dog! Seems to know it's being helped and not hurt. This is the way to do it and they did say they were going to put antibiotics on it. I lived on a farm and regularly removed fly larvae from our cattle. They were like this dog very patient and knew they would be out of pain soon.

Idiot. You are NOT supposed to squeeze them out! You have to cut it. They can release damaging toxins into the dog's body. And not only that, they destroy the tissue around the area, so you need to do severe scraping and flushing out in order for it to be an effective removal.
