@BornForPvM The chances of getting 2 lucky kills in a row is substantially lower than 1 (not half as likely, as you're not just doing a single hit, it's a whole series of hits/switches/transitions to a new kill), so it emphasises the need to do all the other stuff well. (e.g. rolling a 6 on a dice is a 1 in 6 chance, but rolling two 6s in a row is a 1 in 36 chance)

It's possible to get 2 lucky kills in a row of course, but many times less common than it would be to get 1 lucky kill.

@sosolid2kk Pretend dice dueling = Glacor speed killing, and a 12 = a fast kill, and a 2 = a slow kill with many splashes.

The odds of rolling two 12's are like you said, much more rare than rolling one 12, however, rolling two times instead of one increases the chances of rolling poorly, as it increases the chances of rolling high (same luck.) Also, with 1 Glacor kill you need to roll a 12 to win, but with two, you need to roll a 10 and 10 to win, which requires more luck than rolling one 12?

@sosolid2kk Also, on another note, it's not like players only get 1 chance at killing the two Glacors, players get as many chances as they want, with that being said, killing two Glacors in a suitable amount of time, will require more attempts, which requires more luck. When you're working with a 'random hit generator' raising the amount of times to get high hits on the random hit generator to 40 from 20, is raising the amount of luck exponentially. (20 hits to kill 1 Glacor approx.)

@BornForPvM Luck is obviously a factor and can't be avoided, the point of it being 2 kills was just to lessen the reliance on luck a little bit, and shift it a little more towards getting everything else right.

Being 1 kill would be much more luck based, more than 2 kills would make it a bit of a pain for people to attempt multiple times. 2 kills seems like a nice sweet spot.

Any 'cheating' isn't going to cut much time off, and if spotted would disqualify them completely anyway.

If players have the capability of removing frames from the Glacor kills to speed it up, or speeding up the kill itself, they can just as easily edit the time piece to say 1:50 instead of 1:55, on the chat screen, especially in fixed screen. Sorry to question your rules so much, just trying to help.

@lvlerked It was mainly a demonstration within the rules, but mage attack bonus has very little impact on Glacors, so really isn't worth the extra equipment switch anyway.
