Once I was bycycling when across the street I saw a stray pit bull. I wanted to save it but when i came back with my friends to help it was gone. I really wanted to save it! maybe i'll meet it again. :)

@Koodoze Theyre the fools? Atleast they can tell the difference between an AMERICAN PITBULL TERRIER (not a Pit Bull) and an American Bully (mutt, not a purebred). A neutered male dog is submissive. She had been fought, and lost my guess, Thrown away like all the rest. I put the anger aside, and bent down to hold, This beautiful creature so lonely and cold. I looked for a purpose, and soon I did see, I had to fight for a pitbulls right to be.

@KrimeMater Any dog can turn at any moment. Clearly uve never met an APBT. My neighbours have a full grown APBT. He hasnt been trained a day in his life. Hes has NEVER hurt any person or animal. He constantly gets attacked by english staffies at the local park, and never fights back. So much so that he has had to get stitches. He is the most gentle soul I have ever met!

They are exactly like any other dog breed. They aren't going to wake up one day and decide "Hey I'm going to go eat a baby!" any dog can be aggressive it's owners who train them to be that way, as well as back yard breeders.

My friend had a pit bull but everytime I visited him, I wasn't allowed to touch the dog for at least 10 minutes. Why? Because that dog would get so excited to see me, he'd pee all over the place. His owner said he never saw that dog bond with someone like that. What a beautiful, loving animal he was.

@Maxx61 I went to swim practice one day, and a pitbull was at my door. She was a stray, with terrible mange, and she had ringworm. I was surprised, but I left. 3 hours later, and she was still there. Bet decision I've ever made. She was healed, and bonded wonderfully with any person. She now resides at a friend's home and guards their house, and is a family pet to small children. I have o idea how people could hate pitbulls.

I work as a volunteer at a Humane Society that has Pits and Pit mixes. They are really neat dogs! I'd never been around them before and I have a lot of respect for their loving natures. I think what people like Tia are doing to try and educate the public and find these dogs loving homes is AWESOME! I'm so glad there are shows like this on TV, maybe it will help the Bully breeds!
