If they are both males, good luck with that as even with same sex in same "huge" pond 9 and 3/4 of them will fight leaving at minimal severe scarring/open wombs which can lead to infections. Even a 1.1 paid can do the same thing unless you "get extremely lucky" or have a pond the size of a football field for them with plenty of hiding spots. BTW: I use in between fresh and brackish water for mine to fights bacteria, fungus, etc. YOU? So, how is it working out?

@TLkmDN One more thing, is that a pleco(s) (smaller black fish I see) in with them? Google it as they have been known to suck the skin right down to the bone off fly rivers. I am not trying to put you down, actually quite the opposite, just looking for your "personal" experiences with yours versus what I read versus my own experiences. @ouinonyes Frequent services every 1-2 months and an expensive filter! other than that, just the usual....like dont overfeed and remove uneaten food :)
