I did see him though , 1981 New Years Eve Concert in Philadelphia, brilliant with UTOPIA, the pre act was The Jack Bruce Band

@jvenderley: If you're talking about the show at Clowes Hall on the Butler Univ. campus, i was at that show, too. The best Todd show I have EVER seen, and I saw A Wizard, A True Star on opening night in Akron in 2009. He and his band pulled off these two albums PERFECTLY!! I thought Todd AND Healing would be tremendous challenges, but -- Todd is Godd! And the Clowes Hall choir ROCKED!! If you know anybody that has video of that show, I would LOVE to see it here!

I went to the Akron concert too! I sat too far up in the balcony for that show as the acoustics were not as good so far up. Still a wonderful show. I have been sharing my love of Todd (and a lot of 70's music) with my son (22) who I drag along. He has taken me to a couple Dropkick Murphy's concerts, so we are educating each other!

@jvenderley: Me, too, with the kids and Todd thing. I woke them up for a couple years to "Feet Don't Fail Me Now," the vid, becuz they "liked the bugs." My daughter loved his house, from scenes on "From Daryl's House," when Hall goes to Hawaii and jams with Todd at his house. Plus, I threaten them: "If you don't clean your room, I'm gonna make you watch a Todd concert!" Hah-hah! No, one day, I'd like to take them all to a Todd show, but he doesn't come here to Texas that often..
