And I've heard & seen Filipino singers, too. Two of them. Lea Salonga, the Broadway star, and Lani Misalucha, Las Vegas' "Siren of the Strip" who shared an award with Celine Dion. They are indeed impressive.
Healthy eating and working out is always the answer to everything. Also you and many others are just born artistic. many people just don't improve their skills drawing painting poetry signing dancing makeup clothes design playing a musical instrument are all of my intrest = )
growing up I was dreaming of becoming a comic book artists. I had and still have an embarrassingly large collection of those suckers, and I had started one up with my stepfather when I was about 13. I love to sing and I got into your videos cause you seem to have a lot of nice tips and things for singers. I suck, but I still love to do it, haha. I got into graphics design and 3D and am in college now for Arts and Technology.
wow thanks i did not know that your listening to regin and lea.. thanks!.. yes actually regine start singing when she was so little and her vocal exercise daily is to swim in the ocean with her dad and make her submerge to water and her dad will tell him to sing that's her daily exercise..
I love to draw and paint too (-:P You had to tag 5 people as Lamiah mentioned already...I like your facts. Most vocal coaches and music teachers dont like bubble gum (-:P as its kinda disturbing when students come in and chew gum or smth.
(-:P I originally made my five facts video about a week ago or so when I was tagged but Im gonna attach it to this...(-:P for a while, as you wanna know about us all.
Well I never met someone who didn't like bubble gum lol. I've always had a passion for drawing too, but I was way more talented when I was younger. This video was interesting, thanks Eric =D
I like drawing too. I'm more of the black and white pencil drawing, not much of color unless I feel like it.
I'm filipino also. Alot of artists in the Phillipines have awesome voices from their genetics and training. So "vocal lessons from the womb," isn't too far off of a throught
lol. I probably got some of my talent from their. Having 2 passions (Dance/Singing) it's kinda hard to focus on just 1 lol.
Oh yeah, I'm already familiar with Charice. She's a very talented girl. There are a ton of talented Filipina singers. I couldn't possibly name them all. Sheryn Regis, Nina, Kyla, etc. Like I said, Filipina singers just seem like they're born to sing.
thats not weird...you should def. check out the talents young filipino kids have. search for Little Big Star---kids like Rhap Salazar, Rachel, there's a whole bunch of them.... i agree with yotyondin..u should def. check out Charice Pempengco..if u haven't yet, by the way u won't regret it..
Lea Salonga - played Kim in the original cast of Miss Saigon (the musical). She's known outside of the Philippines primarily for her Broadway roles but she has also been the singing voice of some Disney characters such as Mulan and Jasmine (Aladdin).
Regine Velasquez - won an Asia-Pacific Singing contest.
Yep, Lea was great as Kim. I especially loved her as Eponine in Les Miserables. Lea's singing seems effortless. Regine won me over years ago, with her consistently powerful belting. Both women are very impressive vocalists with different qualities that inspire me.

Congrats on the weight loss. Totally impressive!
Multi-talented too. You're open to new musical influences... open-mindedness is probably part of why you've developed more than one talent.
Thanks for posting.
