  • Peat is so bossy!

  • phil laaks random vocab kills me

  • Yeah u can't show ur hand unless ur in certain cash games. The penalty could be that u sit out next hand or just a warning

  • "I'll give you 5 grand if you show a card higher than an ace" "Does an ace count?" clever people playing poker lol

  • @AgentGhost he means a hand better than ace high. it's not very hard to understand lol

  • got dirrrrrd.

  • @TheRockstarlee you use to be aloud to as long as it was on the river but they have changed the rules since this game was played.

  • I love how Laak gives compliments to Dwan all the time

  • Can anyone help me on this one, had this come up in a game a while ago. Is Laak usually allowed to show his cards before he calls/folds? i know its for tv and i guess they want drama but does position allow you to show your cards to the other payer and try get a read before you make a decision?

  • @TheRockstarlee A lot of cash games allowed you to do that, but you gotta ask first, otherwise your hand might be declared dead. In WSOP though, I don't think it is allowed, but I don't know what the penalty is.

I've seen a video of Tony G mistook that it was all-in, and reveal his card, restricting him to not be able to raise, he could only call or fold.

  • @TheRockstarlee im pretty sure in most circunstances it wont be allowed to show your cards. But i think some cash games allow this and many other things. im sure all the players in the table are aware about the rules

  • I would nail the girl at 03:42

  • The sound of those rustling chips is the most fucking annoying thing ever :|

  • LMAO, Viffer @ the end, "I'll give you $5000 if you can show a card higher than Ace-high." Dwan just looks down sheepishly and mucks his hand. LOL

  • Love how Laak always thinks out loud.. he's adorable

  • @redshark618 <3

  • Phil Laak disliked this video.

  • Phil's face at the end is awesome, wish the clip was a few seconds longer to see more of it

  • "$5000 is you can show me a card higher than an ace". Then i guess hes never payinh those 5grand cause A is the biggest card you can have xD

  • @itssimpleiwinyoulose

    it means pair or better

  • @jianping1113 i know what he meant, but thats not what he said :)

  • @itssimpleiwinyoulose oh i thought he meant like a hand higher than an ace, eg a 3 or Q to make 2 pair. well thats how i interp it.

  • @willtran1 doesnt have to be pair of 3´s if tom had 22 in the hole its better than A high

  • @itssimpleiwinyoulose he means at least one pair so he was right

  • He IS that sick

  • Durrrr's poker face did it again. Good News!

  • Laak is always a weak poker player.

  • @persiansolo and ironically the most profitable high stakes NLHE cash player around.

  • Dwan really does put people into that hyper flux area

  • Thats what we call a poker face

  • When laak showed his king to Dwan and Dwan did not look. Then Laak should of figured he was being played not his cards.

  • I don't know why but peat just annoys me.

  • dude looked like he was in a coma HAHA!

  • Listening to Elezra is the funiest part LOL

  • i dont think the girl interviewing knows poker

  • too big bet, laak should have been sure it was a bluff

  • Durrrr is just to stone cold for poker

  • dealergirl looks like dwans big sister/brother XD

  • Comment removed

  • strong means weak.

  • haha loved the ending of it

  • "does an ace count?" LOLOL he literally just told the whole table he had ace high

  • why is the ending funny?

  • @iamdabossofnepal lol because tom refusing to show anything higher than an ace indicates that he was bluffing laak

  • Comment removed

  • Epic durrrr.

  • Dwan played that like he had a 5 in the hole. But he knew that laak is gonna do the math and fold.

  • Viffer looks like he just came out of rehab!

  • Vifffer - good read, better joke ;)

  • why does he have to hold that stare? he can just smile and be natural right i dont understand lol

  • @Fakeslimshady

If you act normal while you're trying to make a bluff, people can pick up on cues that you may give off. If you try to have no emotion, you won't give away as much information which would make it harder for your opponent to read you.

  • U can tell what u want... it was just a poor play from Laak. Raised before the flop Tom just called, he got 2 pairs and Tom checked 3 times. Chicken is roast.

  • @Scroll55555 that's why you're just commenting here, and he's playing professional.

  • @jorgej87 no dude, he means a card that would make a pair or trips on the board. If he holds a K,Q,3 or a 5, he would have a 'card' higher than an ace. Viffer just didnt say it right but its rather obvious what he meant

  • Does an Ace count? LOL

  • omg a hand thats better than ace high

  • what is so funny in the end?? i hope its not viffer with his rabbit face, and saying to show a card higher than an ace. theres is no card higher than the ace!!! lol

  • Phil laak's face at the end is Priceless!

  • you can bluff on laak with super market coupons

  • Easy fucking call. What a retard

  • @Blueburst89 84000 is a lot of money. your a retard to call that much with just a king.

  • @Blueburst89 Easy call with play money...

  • @ArtisticLana hhahaha

  • Best. Pokerface. Evar!

  • Viffer meant higher than ACE HIGH which was exactly what tom had so viffer read him really well

  • tom dwan could be the only player in the world that makes this play, hes so fing creative

  • This is why durrr is one of the greatest cash game players in the world. Everyone else (besides Ivey) plays their cards, durrr plays the man. What a complete sicko!

  • "higher than an ace"

    Who invited this fool?

  • @lagundafire u're obviously clueless when it comes to poker . " higher than an ace " means if tom has at least a card in his hand that combined with the cards on the board

beats an ace. The guy was asking if tom had a pocket pair, a Queen, a King,a 3 or a 5. Basically he was asking Tom if he bluffed or not .

  • @bogdychamp

he said a "CARD" higher than an ace. Not a hand higher than ace high. I might be clueless at poker (A strong possibility) but i know in poker there is no card higher than an ace. I know that much :P

  • @lagundafire he means a hand higher than ace high

  • @lagundafire yes and by " card " he meant hand higher than an ace.

  • Phil Laak's reaction initial reaction is priceless.

  • so funny when laak put his cards in front of dwan

  • @rungoodmuch Um not really it strictly depends on the player.Your only beating a pure bluff in that spot

  • Viffer would call that bet in 1 sec (:

  • in my opinion, phil laak is the most annoying and humor-lacking pokerplayer i've ever seen.

  • I LAUGHED SO DAMN HARD AT THE ENDING

  • that's a fucking nice car

  • i just wish the fuckers could leave the chips alone, it annoys the shit out of me.

  • Laak is always playing way over his bankroll in these things and it always shows, he plays scared.

  • Lol, this is so ridiculous. What hand is dwan checking 3 times? He plays aggro style so he can also bet aggressively here, there is no chance he is ever checking a real hand on river to laak who usually seems to play tightish, Laak would have bluffed earlier if he needed to/was going to bluff. Its probably like Laak said, dwan put him on a Q and decided to bluff him off of it so if you think so, make the damn call!!!

  • missclick lol

  • Sick.

  • yws thats right, this play works only high stack poker.

you cant play the same system on micro stacks!

  • Dwan is torturing him

  • what a man !!!

  • phil laak is so right with his first sentence

  • That guy at the end is funny

  • I've seen enough of durr to know that this dude has a MONSTER tell! These pro's need to take a page out of Peyton Manning's book and watch video till they die and avoid getting played.

  • @chocochip1 Sell your house, car heck maybe even your wife and play him heads up.

  • @AndersForEverybody Didn't say he wasn't a Terrific player only that he has a tell. I'll play him when you get his dick out your mouth

  • @chocochip1 easy to spot MONSTER tells when seeing the hole cards and watching the video on youtube.. go playing him instead sherlock

  • @00101011011011 Am I supposed to disagree with what you said? Thats exactly how I know watching his bluff vids and his strong hands vids over and over. Its called observation.

  • @chocochip1 Why do you watch all of TD's videos over and over to spot tells when you are never gonna play him anyway? Go watch some instructional vids instead and learn how to beat the people you're actually gonna play.

  • @aptand you and I both know he'll never get anywhere near that far in poker. He's just another youtube commenter trying to justify his lack of accomplishment by dissecting a game of vissable whole cards.

  • great analysis by eli lol

  • God who is that nobody on the right that talks so much?!? So irritating!!!

  • What a po-po-po-po-po-poker face.

  • In this case,Dwan 3 bet so much on the turn makes it whether a real hand or a BLUFF...I think Phil thought it's a BLUFF but just couldn't call that so much bet...

  • i dont understand why laak bet, he couldve checked and took the pot. the only thing better than his king was trip 5's which your bet wouldnt get durr of if he did have 5's and was slow playing. so why bet, for value? then he shouldve bet the turn. betting the river just opens the door to get beat by a bluff like this. hes a pro. and obviously knows more about poker than i do. but this just doesnt make sense to me

  • how can u call that big bet haha even if phil leek had something lol

  • Lol @ everyone saying this is a snap call. Facing Dwan, you always feel that you'll see the nuts when you call, and the bluff when you fold. It's just so tough.

  • Ma guardate Durr dannazione rimane impassibile ..quella è concentrazione non si muove rimane calmo e fermo nonostante gli abbia sbattuto le carte in faccia ..STRAORDINARIO!

  • bad call

  • EPIC XD

  • nice analysis by Eli... Not..;) Viffer seems to be spot on though

  • @Craptain77 Viffer is a shark. People don't often realize this.

  • Let there be triple range. durrrr

  • poor laak

  • Dwan - hilarious here... this is why poker is so ridiculous sometimes. look at Dwan's face for about 2 minutes

  • 'it feels like a superblend between snap fold and snap call... you always put people in that hyperflux area..'

  • still a good fold by phil. what if Dwan slow played a monster. the pot was tiny compared to that huge raise, so not worth it to call another 80k when the pot only has like 16k in it.

  • @chinkyboi93 by 'higher' he means 'better', as in a card that shows he has connected and has made a hand.

  • Eli is such a fish

  • loving viffer at the end there hahahahaa

  • Phil Laak played a hand?

  • Tom 'durrrr' Dwominate

  • the end of the video is so LOL

  • @charlesdubois123 how do you show a card higher than an ace?

  • @chinkyboi93 i'm not sure you can... perhaps joker? but poker dun play with jokers...

  • durrrr's fuckin AWESOME

  • this shit is transparent..how does laak not snap call

  • @AMAIZENBLUEFAN oh dear. *face palm*

  • @AMAIZENBLUEFAN your a dork...you would lose all your money to tom.

  • @AMAIZENBLUEFAN you clearly dont watch dwan play much and you clearly dont understand what it must be like calling $84,000 with a pair.....

  • i find it sick that dwan didn't glance at laak's cards

  • sick

  • without history worst bluff ever

  • I am so glad someone uploaded this clip

  • I'm not questioning the play or the skills of either Laak or Dwan, but just so everyone is aware, earlier this same game Dwan pulled a similar play against Phil Hellmuth. Hellmuth decided to make a hero call, but Dwan actually had the trips that time. I think that Laak remembered the outcome of that hand when Dwan mega-raised, and Dwan expected Laak to do this, and so made the play, expecting Laak to fold, which he did. If the previous hand hadn't happened, Laak might have called.

  • if he makes such a huge bluff and risks wayyy more then he should, he knows Laak very well and he is very confident Laak will fold. Still . as amazing as it is , this move isn't reasonable

  • Laaks face at the end lol

  • lol viffer

  • Dwan just seems to be able to see through Laak. He has owned him so many times.

  • @suskun5633

Ahah, Do you wanna have a 1 on 1 match my full tilt username = tremcopa3321 =]

    And yep

I seen various pros talking on their FB walls that you should register usin the bonus code AMERICAS on Full Tilt Pokers web page.

Awesome way to acquire some free cash to get better with. Make a deposit and they DOUBLE it + a couple other important perks. Sucks but it's only gonna work for the first 4000 people that sign up with it

  • I wanna see Tom Dwan vs. Jamal In. That would be one of the sickest poker battles of all time! Also Phil Ivey vs. Jamal In would be another epic matchup!

  • Jamal In has his own move. Instead of saying "I'm all in" he says "Jamal-In!"

Not to mention he has his own shoe. What other poker player has their own shoe? Dude is the Michael Jordan of poker, except he's the best kept secret in poker.

Anyway, it's gonna be funny when he says "Jamal-In!" at the WSOP but doesn't push his chips forward and people start folding. I'm sure the floor will be called over and he may not be allowed to say his own name. lol

  • financially, laak can't afford to back up his reading ability

  • is this really good play? making such an overbet and risking so much for small pot? was he so sure he would fold haha?

  • @Lobnig123 The key thing here is that Dwan also tends to overbet for value when he has a huge hand, so it keeps Laak from knowing where Durrrr is at in the hand, when you play together as much as these guys do, you have to be able to merge your ranges.

  • damn i wanted durrrr to show so we could see laak's reaction

  • @syntheticrhetoric

he knew he had a bad hand , The other dude asked him "show me a card higher than a ace" and dwan made a smile

  • Comment removed

  • it is a sick bluff ;)

  • CORRECTION- his*****

  • anybody else think that Tom Dwan looks like a donk when he is thinking....he looks like that he out of this world ....but actually her game is out of this world .

    - A fan

  • I'd rather buy a car, go on holiday, buy clothes, go on another holiday, buy another car and go on another holiday after that than bluff off almost $85,000 :D

  • If you listen to Eli explain the hand he also believed that Dwan was bluffing because he believes that Dwan is making this bet to look like an over bet thus the logic at the end of it is he has the hand and wants to be payed off huge owing to his reputation....

  • The reason he bet this is because he put Laak on exactly what he had one knig...

Laak knows that Dwan knows this and due to the huge siz of the bet it can either be one of two things

    1. A huge over bet with a full house made to look like an over the top Bluff( and he has done this move before)

    2. Or a total bluff and the only bluf that would work would be a bluff of this size and refering to point one this is what is going on in Laaks mind and DWan knows this

  • @GINOFALUS wow, a poker wizard on youtube! sick! i have always wanted to see into the mind of such a fascinating smart minds!!!!!!!

  • @pobox113 Oh yeah I am a Wizard... lol ... Hey watch me sing.. and comment.. Gino sings music of the night... thanks

  • This play only works in high stakes.. In microstakes, most people would just call...

  • @ramzidane bout 98% yes, the remaining 2 would be afraid of a slowplayed 5's.

  • @ramzidane Normally Laak would just call, too. Such a wonderful station.

  • @ramzidane of course not when you bet your 90 cents all people tremble and fold.

  • @yellow6100 Microstakes situation:

    Laak River bets $2

    Dwan bets $10

    Laak calls

Never play Dwan's style in microstakes, you'll lose a lot of money

  • @ramzidane the good poker players should all love tom dwan for tempting people to play like this

  • @ramzidane Yea but I don't see people make these kind of blufs at the micro's

  • @Subzero9922 because u dont need to bluff much to win money in micro. idiots will just call your value bets.

  • @ramzidane well it works when theres 85k at risk not when there is 85 dollars

  • @ramzidane big revelation right there

  • @ramzidane to reach highstakes we need to pull off such moves in micro stakes.

  • @ramzidane The problem is: Microstakes players don't risk 100k!

  • yeah, i agree

  • he's an absolute sicko
