Besides, the SAS aren't trained for true Intelligence Ops like 3rd Echelon. They are not comparable, but in the books a three-man Splinter Cell Team took down a six-man SAS team without breaking a sweat.

So, 3rd Echelon is better than SAS.

And I'll say, the Secret Air Service are probably the most accomplished and well-trained Special Forces in the world. Almost every other Special Forces Unit is based off them, I know the makeup of the SAS Regiments, and their Troops. I watch Military Channel everyday. If Ubisoft have moved away from the stealth aspect and more towards action orientated I will be very annoyed. Splinter Cell has always been about stealth.

From what I've gotten out of it Conviction isn't entirely stealth like the old ones you lost if you were spotted pretty much. They wanted to make it like a real agent you don't just stop the mission because they saw you, in real life you would have to find away around the "inconvinience" and complete the mission. So the stealth should be the same but the actions now on more level grounds with it.

They've basically turned Sam Fisher into Jason Bourne in this game.

Whcih I wouldn't mind but Splinter Cell was always more about the stealth ratehr than the combat. Aso, Sam Fisher was supposed to be a world-weary black ops combatant who knew that governments dono't always play by the rules. In this game he seems supried that a section of the US intellignece community is crooked...like DUH!!!
