MH has become one of the leading airlines of the world, given its induction situtation back when MSA existed. I am a die hard SQ fan but i have to admit that MH did pretty well after SIA took all of MSA's interanational routes and jumbos, leaving MH with basically nothing. Although MH doest have such a strong presence and brand like SQ, they are still pretty powerful.

I think the photos of the food are ok but the rice looks dry and overcooked and the curry or whatever it is look like purified baby food than curry to me personally I think they are great to fly with but I think the quality of the food has put me off to fly with them. Also it loks really cramped in standard class compared to singapore airlines and even quantas too

MH cabin service some times good some times bad but in SQ it is standart, always u can be sure that there will be good service.

So simple : best training and management.

Why so emotional? It is fact that MH got the best cabin staf in the world based on skytrax 2009 result. Every airline have their own strength. MH service will much more better when they receive new B737-800 and A380-800 in 2011, together with existing fleet of B747-400, B777-200ER and refurbished A330. I'm sure MH staf will do their best to be the best among the best. Calm down ye....

lol that is all MH has. I agree MH has great service, bu they lack in everything else. Management really needs to get their act right. With the way they are running MH is terrible. Upgrade their planes, upgrade their seats, upgrade their IFE, upgrade their catering, upgrade their airport facilities, better train their groundstaff.

Sin-Kul on MH. You get an old 737, old seats, and a snack box for a 40 minute hop.

Sin-Kul on SIA. You get either a 777 or the new a330 with comfortable and new seats, IFE system and a hot meal.

MH management needs to get their act together and run MH as a good airline. Right now MH is no different then Air Asia.

SIA use 777 because they don't have smaller aircraft. All their smaller aircraft, such as Airbus A320 are all with SilkAir.

MH's 777 are used for Long-haul flights. They purchase 777 for long-haul flight.

MAS ordered 737-800.

If I'm MAS, I will also order narrow-body aircraft for short flights, install IFE inside, and so on.

Don't use this flights guys, trust me. I used to fly with maalaysia airlines for the last 5 years, europe to asia. The services are getting bad, not a kind stewards there, and bad food. I'm using singapore airlines now, it's almost the sampe price, much much better service, larger seat and good food. Trust me, i'm telling you guys from my own experience.
