if your going for sheer architecture/engineering and what not than Texas is the best. Because they update it so much. If you going for toughest places to play than itd be Florida, lsu, FSu and Texas A&M. But besides Texas all those stadiums are pretty shitty. this coming from a Florida Gator. How is the Big House not on here? Its an iconic stadium and hold over a 100,000 insane fans that love the team that comes out of the tunel on saturdays. Not to mention all the renovations its an amazing experiance just being there

not bad but Virginia Tech's Lane Stadium should really be your runner up list if not top 5... it's consistently in ESPN's toughest places to play (impressive considering it only seats 68,000), they've had 10+ wins the past 7 seasons (longest active 10+ win season streak in the NCAA), and the entrance is pure genius (Metallica's Enter Sandman)

However, No one messed with or came close to touching Notre Dame during the time of the four horseman. Notre Dame has not done well recently but they are still a major college football power.

As someone studying to be a stadium architect i disagree with neyland stadium as number one. As a biased stand point my favorite is Jordan Hare, but my favorite architecturally would be Oregon's, even though i dont want to say that due to they stand between auburn and be nat'l champs, Wisconsin's, Nebraska's are just to name a few but glad you kept stadiums like Michigan and Notre Dames out because they suck and are highly overrated

What a joke.....Anybody who knows ANYTHING about College football has LSU's Tiger Stadium at number one.....that is just an obvious run-away....as for your top few, they could be shuffled around some, but I cannot believe you didn't include Oregon's Autzen stadium....oh, and as for Michigan....give me a break...the big house is the MOST QUIET large stadium I have ever attended......it is NOT even top 10. Sorry to all the Michi-frostbacks, but the truth hurts sometimes.

@letsgoduke15 This statement shows you no nothing about the early days of college football. I am in no way a Notre Dame fan in fact I am a Florida State fan. However, No one messed with or came close to touching Notre Dame during the time of the four horseman. They have 11 claimed national championships and 10 unclaimed because they were no the only team selected to be #1 at the end of the season. Notre Dame has not done well recently but they are still a major college football power.

As someone studying to be a stadium architect i disagree with neyland stadium as number one. As a biased stand point my favorite is Jordan Hare, but my favorite architecturally would be Oregon's, even though i dont want to say that due to they stand between auburn and be nat'l champs, Wisconsin's, Nebraska's are just to name a few but glad you kept stadiums like Michigan and Notre Dames out because they suck and are highly overrated

The noise isn't impressive as all the sound goes right out of there. In my opinion, Michigan Stadium is no different than stadiums like Doak Campbell, LA Coliseum or the Rose Bowl.
