He for sure has hops but It looks like he has small hands and loses a great deal of upward energy from fumbling with the ball - Also it seems that he does not have the upper body strength or coordination to do some of the dunks he should be able to do with the crazy hops he has. Jumpsoles and Strength shoes all work but to maxiumum of 5 maybe 7inches. Gains greater then that can be attributed from coordination, weight loss, strength, Pesonally I was able to touch the top of the squre.

Hopefully that isn't even the case at all. The fact that you are misleading btw. Jump sole fails the purpose of plyo and end up doing it explosively. It also gets you injured while doing intense high intensity jumping like rebound and drops!! You can only do low intensity skipping and bounding with it. It OUT WEIGHTS!!
@dominsmith I have the same problem. You can either use one of those aerobic steps that you can increase in height by putting the plastic squares under both sides of it (which I do at my gym), or you can use a bench. But with a bench, make sure you jump higher than it actually is, as if it's the same height as a box.
With each jump, you jump off bench to the opposite side that you jumped on it from, do a quick-hop 180 to turn around, and then jump back up right away, 10 times.
@MyPenis13inchGirlFit Yes very true you don't "need" them for plyos to work. But believe me, after doing the same workouts with & without the soles, I get better results personally with them. That's just me, could be different for you.
@chitownsuperfan You should not have done any plyo until a 1.5 x - 2x own weight olympic full squat is present. 2 x own body weight on your back full squat gives the most benefits in plyo gets up to 40 inch running vertical. 3x or more is the brutal strength. An apparition of a legit 50 inch standing vert appears here.Gets up to 55 - 59 rvj.
@MyPenis13inchGirlFit I DO do squats. I agree they are very important, and in fact, it's a part of my routine. I do plyos with jumpsoles, and heavy lifting w/o jumpsoles after the plyos. Trust me, I know what I'm doing as a former HS state high-jumper..

can anyone tell me if the jumpsoles will stretch my legs out and strenghten them? i have bad right achilles tendinitis which i think a more elastic tendon would help this problem, or will jumpsoles develope tendinitis?
idk but i have jumpsoles and I was using them for about 3 weeks and my knees started hurting so i stopped using them,but thewy definetly helped me within the 3 weeks.
do 10 reps jumping as explosive as you can for 3 sets and have a 2-3minutes rest in between. train only for one hour and not exceeding that time because growth hormones aren't secreted anymore when you workout more than an hour. immediately after work out have a meal, with lots of carbs and protein. include a whey protein in ur meal. and creatine but ask for ur physician first before taking it. also i take calcium citrate for ur bones and joints. have a minimum of 8 hrs sleep. train 3x a wik.

calf only count for 20 percent of your vert, no glutes no vert. Full squats are the prob the best lift to do for exerting maximum amounts of force and then plyometrics like depth jumps and shock jumps to gain the ability to move with high velocity. force x velocity= power.

You do 5 exercises, 2-3 sets of 10:
1)Line jumps [fast, but not 2 quick, back &forth over a line, lifting your legs up as u jump]
2)Rim jumps [as high as u can no breaks]
3)Box jumps
4)Jump skips [skipping but driving up your knee & as high as u can each step, back &forth down bball court is 1 rep]
5) Frog jumps [is hardest: emulate length as jumpskips]
Then do weights w/o Jumpsoles. **Anyone wants a full leg workout, message me**

lol, look at Demar Derozan, Brandon jennings, Derrick Rose and bunch of others NBA players, all of themn could do a between the legs when they ended their highschool career so im not impressed ´by this Mike Tustin.... He is a great dunker, but not a unique great dunker...

Idc. Just enjoy that vertical is superior. IDC when did they dunk between the legs, from what I know is that you're just an ignorant sucker who don't know anything. Jumping is not genetics. Jumpsoles were rip off, they don't work and dunking is lesser than jumping high and lifting heavy anyway.

If you don't think 43 or so for running is not good, just look at the NFL draft combine. Lebron James doesn't even have 40 for standing. It takes horse power levels not genetics! So IDGAF about Vince between the legs before end of high school. I'll seriously get /strive at legends at 50" for standing and what else?? Dunking is shit compared to lifting weights.

Lebron James 44 inches RUNNING. It's not vertical. Anybody could add 5 inches on their standing vertical @ running. And yes, dunking isn't vertical leap, All the dunkers don't reach their maximum vertical while doing a trick dunk and this dude is 6 ft not as tall as Vince. AC squat dr is preferred (could honey dip from standing still and he's 5'9"!!)

can anyone tell me if the jumpsoles will stretch my legs out and strenghten them? i have bad right achilles tendinitis which i think a more elastic tendon would help this problem, or will jumpsoles develope tendinitis?

idk but i have jumpsoles and I was using them for about 3 weeks and my knees started hurting so i stopped using them,but thewy definetly helped me within the 3 weeks.

What do you consider training correctly in jumpsoles?

do 10 reps jumping as explosive as you can for 3 sets and have a 2-3minutes rest in between. train only for one hour and not exceeding that time because growth hormones aren't secreted anymore when you workout more than an hour. immediately after work out have a meal, with lots of carbs and protein. include a whey protein in ur meal. and creatine but ask for ur physician first before taking it. also i take calcium citrate for ur bones and joints. have a minimum of 8 hrs sleep. train 3x a wik.

never train 3 times a week.twice is the limit when using jumpsoles.you need a minimum of 2 days rest inbetween the work-outs.

Besides, everybody knows dunks are the most entertaining part of bball and yea not everyone is going to play college or pro ball but if you can dunk at least are tight in pickup games.

calf only count for 20 percent of your vert, no glutes no vert. Full squats are the prob the best lift to do for exerting maximum amounts of force and then plyometrics like depth jumps and shock jumps to gain the ability to move with high velocity. force x velocity= power.
