Is it strange that most pro life (anti abortion) people are pro death penalty? I am against the death penalty. The chances of killing an innocent man are way too big... Especially in light of the many recent exonerations of death row inmates.
My point was you can never be absolutely sure if they indeed committed the crime. But even if they did - they are still a God's creation. It is up to Gods to judge them. It is in the Bible that God loves everyone - the babies as well as the sinners. Why would the state play God and do the ultimate punishment? It is an abomination in the eye of a truly religious person. Anything else is a hypocrisy.
And God still loves that sinner as do Christians but we also believe in the justice system which coincide with Gods laws. God is all for humans making laws to keep people within the law as long as it coincides with His laws.
Please consult your priest about Gods Law. I assume you are not Jewish. If you are our views are so diametrically different that we can not have a dialog.
