I've seen top notch show trucks that have dragged. They usually end up having lil scuff marks in the paint below the tail gate. If your gonna pour 40 or more G's into a truck just to f it up like that whats the point.

First off this isn't my truck but a friends. Second off have you ever heard of preserving? I see your into hot rods so this should work in your favor here.
It keeps the vehicles value up for resale or trade in the after market world. And also preserves for future generations. Now granted yes you can rebuild. But what if you drove it so hard it broke it so far out of recognition its just not worth it. and then your kids wanna join in the hobby. Well sorry timmy no can do.... Daddy broke em all
