Hello david! Plz can you help me on this one?

I own the th2 and i love it...however i dont have a midi controller but i do have a digitech gnx1 pedal (link: digitech.com/en/products/gnx1) I bought the device some years ago but i dont use it anymore...The digitech however has a midi I/O capability and i had been using it with my pc to edit presets with a software given along with the unit. I tried to use it to control th2 but it wont budge Grig4 either...any suggestions?

@nemogre Did you configure both softwares to respond to the midi device?

Make sure you select the proper midi in and out which I think should be the sound card you use.

What do you think the best method of recording guitar is? I just got Amplitube 3, and I have a 1/4 to USB cable to plug my guitar into my iMac. For some reason, my sound quality is just...poor. I really want to start recording my music, but I can't seem to get a good enough sound to do so. Any suggestions? Perhaps you have a video on it and I haven't seen it. If that's the case, please direct me there. Thanks!

I would recommend you buy an external sound interface. It will give you a cleaner signal and boost your lee to use amp modeling softwares. M-Uadio has some good options...

@marcg1z28 Yeah, nowadays there are a lot of midi devices that plug directly into your USB port actually.

Just a really quick question. In this video how is the guitar signal being amplified for this video, are you running it directly into a DAW, DI box or using studio monitors jacked up to the 11R?

And if you are using the monitors what brand model are they? I'm in the market.

@Vercingetorix I use Behringer Truth powered monitors hooked to the Eleven rack for me to hear what I play.

The sound is simultaneously recorded on my IMac. For that, I record using an app called "RecordPad". The headphones out of the Eleven are connected to the audio in of my IMac to record.

I then match the recorded guitar audio to the video.
