Sounds like you could have a case of Cerumen obturans (wax impaction). Normally, a GP can take care of this in the practice, but you could also go to an ENT specialist. In any case, it would be good to rule out an infection. That's not something you would want to put off for another day.

P.s. I had a ear infection since I was one, and it only got fixed earlier this year. Sixteen years, lawlz. Doctors subscribed me with a thing called "Ciloxan" which is eye drop solution, but for the ears. It reduced wax or whatever was in my ear and cleaned it all out pretty much. Not sure if it's in USA. You can also get your ear syringed cleaned which is a common method for ear infections as well. : ) Stay strong!

my ear wouldn't unpop for like 2 weeks straight. It was sooo annoying. Apparently if it goes on for too long they make a tiny incision in your ear drum to force it to pop. I've done everything you mentioned too, but it finally went away for some reason.
